It was such a good time in the 90s/early 2000's, especially years like 2002 and 2003, rising genres included post-grunge, swing revival, house music was a rising genre toward that time (I love jazz and house music ;D), Contemporary R&B, teen pop/bubblegum pop, maybe I am leaning toward the 90's, but the 90's and early 2000's was defintley a great era for music and music video and I wish it could have lasted longer cause we all know the music industry can't do what it did back then for artists.
