my dad had one of these, while i was growing up we would use it for everything, pulling the boat, getting loads of wood, yo could use that car for anything, and you just sunk into the seats when you would get in it, i loved that car!
Yep....my parents had a 75 and then in 77, downsized...is this sold and as good as it looks? how many miles on it? Its my favorite color combos. Beautiful
@Marksnotebook Minor correction - the smaller Caddy engine was a 472. BTW the reason the 500 was placed in Cadillacs other than the Eldorado was due to the emission detuning had just about killed the power of the big Caddy engines. Even the 500 engine was detuned to the lower 200HP area! (gasp!). So the 500 was needed to move those tanks.
man i wanna get a 76 coupe deville as my first ever car. everything for it goes right all exept the 6 mpg. which i cant afford as my first ever car lol. so im gonna get a 78/79 coupe and the 16-18 mpg will be better for me

Nice car as a Sunday driver. But for everyday? Sorry, but 9mpg in city traffic and barely 15-18 on the road is too expensive for me.

Anybody that would turn up their nose at a Cadillac like that needs their head examined! That's a beautiful Coupe de Ville!

My brother had a 1976 Sedan deVille with a 500 cu.in. V8!
spvc1968 1 year ago
@spvc1968 The 500 V8s were more rare as most came with the 455 engine. All good though
