hey loving the pics only thing is the music but that's cause im not really into aussie hiphop. I would've gone with more earthy songs like enya etc but yeah I just bought the d90 also first camera i own so decided to go for something decent. Will upload the pics soon when I get a good amount together. Keep up the good work mate and yes Australia is a great country :)
ops!! i just bought the nikon d90 with kit lens 18-105mm VR,one of my friends advised me to buy it body only and have the same combo of yours, but i was on a serious budget :S !!
the 18-55mm center sharpness is much better than the 18-105mm!!anyway..good luck and keep shooting :)
ha fair enough, You should still be able to get some great shots from that lens and you can always get more lens' later. The main thing is the D90 so hopefully you have as much fun with it as me, good luck and let me know if you put together a slideshow so I can check out your shots ;)
I have the 18-105VR kit lens on mine, along with a 50 f/1.8 and a rather expensive 70-200VR f/2.8 and find that the kit lens is really quite good, particularly in the middle ranges and over f4-5. It is my preferred walking around lens now, light, versatile and surprisingly good image quality. The 70-200 is very sharp in the 100mm++ at f3.5-8 or so range, great for serious studio work and low light club or street. The only thing I am lacking now is long reach.
Thanks mate, yeah it was the lens kit I got with the camera which are Nikon AFS 18-55mm VR & AF-S 55-200mm VR. I got some UV filters to protect the lens as well but also used Nikon CaptureNX2 software for some very basic editing, crop, lighting, colour etc.
