@MortalGearStudieos Try songs like 'Lies', 'Rusted from the Rain', 'Pins and Needles', and 'The Ex'. Those are all nice straight forward Billy Talent songs to get you comfortable with them on bass.

As you learn, try moderate songs like 'Standing in the Rain', 'Where is the Line' 'Voices of Violence' and 'Saint Veronika'.

And as you advance further, challenge yourself with 'Devil in a Midnight Mass', 'Worker Bees', 'Beachballs' or 'Devil on my Shoulder'.

I think it's much harder to play with a pick in many songs.

Bass playing style is about personal preference and what you're better at. Don't judge a bass player because he/she uses a pick.

whats wrong with useing a pick.. i know alot of bands with bass players that use a pick. and it is alot easyer but it really does not sound as good as finguers

thats exactly it. it doesn't sound as good as fingers. now some bands like three days grace use the pick to their advantage. but fingers is a richer sound than a pick w/ the bass usually.

In My Opinion Is All About The Style Of Music.

An Example.

a Song Like, Lay Down, Has A Lot Of Movement And Isn't A Simple 1, 2, 3, 4 Beat.

But A Song Like.

All The Small Things.

Would Be Better With Pick Because Its Just A Singular Beat.
