Also, this is the 5th final for Fed right in the French? Only losing to Nadal and no other! Also recall that Fed beat Nadal on another clay court in a final, not sure which one it was (Russian maybe), but this was the one Fed wanted! I'm sure it's bitter sweet that it wasn't Nadal losing to him that day! In spite of everything Fed, Agassi and Laver are the only three to get the career grand slam, that's somthing Agassi had over Sampras, and still does! Again his best finish was Semi-finals!

He's certainly the best player of the modern era - but its so hard to compare him accurately to Laver. Wilander said he thought Fed was the 3rd or 4th best CLAY court player ever - which is some accolade too. Nadal and Borg presumably being #1 and #2
