  • Yum!! I so want to go here in April!! They don't have any English menus or anything do they? :\

  • @KirstieXoXo When you enter the restaurant, you buy your ramen ticket and whatever side items you want at a vending machine (there are pics). When you sit down they will hand you a sheet of paper that asks you how you would like your ramen prepared (the soup, how spicy, amount of green onions, etc.). That sheet of paper is in Japanese, so just ask for an English version. That's about it. I personally don't like Ichiran. The egg and pork alone aren't that great to me.

  • damnit, they need to open up a shop in chicago!

  • oishii sou!!! tabetai wa kono ramen......~sigh~

  • i love how you explain little things (important little things).

  • i swear to god i was almost drooling when i saw that ramen

  • Looks yummy。

  • omfg that ramen was life changing seriously!!! so awsome

  • It looks so good ._.

  • is it expensive to eat there?

  • ok this guy is defiantly a douche-bag' i mean really a NY shirt in the middle of Japan? ;/

  • @colombiak Why is that so wrong? :/

  • @colombiak If I went to japan.. I would use a mexican shirt LOL

  • (*¬*) Raaaamen~

  • Awesome. All of it.

  • That looks delicious! Been meaning to try authentic ramen in my area. And the refill your own water at your table?!! Amazing!!!

  • Dang that looks so good.

  • that looks way better than the kind of ramen i make

  • Yeah I went to one like that. Ifs deff more complicated but the up swing is you get exactly what you want right down the to the consistency of your noodles. Its funny since I've been back stateside I think "good" ramen has been the most illusive Japanese food, altho a Korean BBQ....

  • its ok to slurp while eating noodles in japan :P

  • ...The way he inhaled those noodles..the slurping sound. o3O

  • Haha. Very nice. gotta get.me.some.

Wish they would open up the place in NY soon. They've been saying so for years, but it still hasnt happened yet. :(

  • hahaha... Ramen... I like so much... *.*

    Thanks for the video Josh

  • I could be wrong but dosent the name if the restaurant translate to "the best ramen" ?

  • lol at the end you were like, "oh yeah...thats the good stuff"'

  • Comment removed

  • Wow... I'd starve if it's that complicated.

  • I am sooo hungry right now..

  • That ramen looks amazing!..I'm so hungry lol.

  • You shuld put lessons on "how to speake Japanese"

  • @Surfermitch99 It's simple: Learn. That's all. :o If knowing a few words like 'Arigatou' means that you know how to speak Japanese... Nah, that's just a dream. :/

  • could you visit a shrine and get it on cam? that would be awesome :3

do you visit shrines for the new years?

  • 1:13 "each sit must be separated... " LOL

  • This is one of the things I miss the most about living in Japan. We lived near a 24 hour one in Machida. Yuuuummy.

  • I thought tokyo got involed by an earthquake

  • fffuuuuccck now i'm hungry...

  • I will remember this for my trip.

  • LOL those noodles VANISHED! XD

  • I'm gonna have to check out the NYC location! NYC is awesome!

  • 2:10 for epic face!

  • good to see you making more vids

    thanks!

  • *wants*

  • - continued due to crappy iphone- yakisoba it came to me still sizilling of the grill. And it was phonaminal!

  • To me resturants arent supose to make you focus souly on da food but more on the social experiance while enjoyin the food. Theres a place in my area called hiryu sushi. Small hole in the wall resturant but its cozy, friendly and a great place to chat with friends o. A night out or go on a date. They take a while for the food to get to your table but when it does it is fanaminal! I tried their chicken yakiso

  • Not crapping on your video post but I have a problem with this business model. You never see the cooks, the servers, only their feet, you never see others slurping down the noodles with you in joy, and it just feels like you're entering a food factory and partaking in their assembly line. Why can't they do all of this without all the walls?

  • @kiman2 All of that is subjective. Some people, myself included, would prefer that kind of privacy. Especially eating Ramen, you may not always want to see the other people slurping down their noodles. Also, it must be great for single people. Eating by yourself in a crowded restaurant can sometimes be awkward, however, this place allows you to eat peacefully a nice bowl of noodles rather than staying home in front of the tv with an instant noodle cup!

  • @kua514 I ate at a place like this in Ueno and was put of by the experience. Ramen is Japanese comfort food. There's nothing weird about going to a ramen shop and eating by yourself while being surrounded by others. You're unlikely to be the only one. Like izakaya, there's a certain degree of that comfy homely warmth at places like ramen shops. To me, what the private booth does is hide all the great vibe that makes going to get a bowl of ramen such a wonderful experience in the first place.

  • I waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant ooooone, toooooo =(

    looks so yummy :D

  • That looks so good!

  • i want some

  • good job on telling your girl to get out of the way on the video. wouldn't want her to feel like she had any part of it or anything.. yeaaaa

  • @ThePacificCrossing

i agree, i saw that. loved the video till that happened.

  • is it custom to drink the water too? is it rude not to? cuase i know its rude to add more spices and stuff

  • now where can i find ramen at 2 am.. dammit...!!!!

  • Ichiran? i say "Ichi - Rocks" !!

  • Looks so damm yummy ;O;

  • dude, my friend showed me this one family owned ramen shop in Zama and thats the BEST ramen ive ever had so far in Tokyo but I'll try this one out too

  • Good to know you have food now! :3 Hope you're okay and that the earthquake doesn't affect people as much now...

  • kool! I will find this in NY :D

  • lol at the end you were like, "oh yeah, thats sum good stuff..."

everybody's so polite there its like manners are everything

  • I heart your vids. I'm in love with japanese culture and hope to one day visit if not live there. Great vid as usual!

  • Interesting, I got sushi yesterday at Sushi Mac here in LA. It's $3 a roll... mad cheap.

  • Omq! I want to go to Japan now! The new york one they dont speak Japanese and I highly doubt we get that much ramen!!!! JAPAN FTW!!

  • YEAHH OMG . . . I WANT RAMEN!!!
