Just got done watching the first episode. I loved it. Nathan Fillion has a way with comedic roles and the woman who plays Beckette had good chemistry. I hope they continue with it, it was very entertaining.

bones is not the same, have you read the books, we have them all here. this is a different idea that has been around before.

it has a similar plot mechanic as bones, guy/girl partnership, a writer helping police solve crimes. the only difference is "bones" uses the forensics element to solve crimes like csi.

if anything it's 2009 version of "moonlighting"
