@The15180 I don't love Jesus because I don't know whether or not he ever existed. The earliest books of the New Testiment are second hand accounts writen many decades after the supposed events occured. How can you be sure than anything in them is true and not simply mythology?

For example, I cannot do bodily harm to you with my thoughts alone. God did not allow for that. He did, however, allow for child slavery, torture, rape, genocide, and so on. If it's an all-powerful god, he's ultimately left with the responsibility for all suffering in the universe.

Instead I'll simply say that the evidence for it is absolutely overwhelming, so much so that most people who believe in god accept that if god did create the universe, he must have done it through the big bang. Even if we had no explanation for the origin of our universe, it does not automatically imply a god.
