No, we didn't go to states because they moved it to Philly at the last minute because it got rained out in Pittsburgh. I play for Pine-Richland and we are amongst the top three teams in PHUL right now. I don't know if you've heard of our league or anything, but its pretty big. 650+ players (In all three leagues) last year and around 25 HS Varsity teams. It looks like it will be even bigger this year!

Yea it was pretty close, hard to say the video quality isn't that great. If your team dosen't celeberate when you get the greatest, get a new team. And for a callahand. My team got a callahand against ECU and other teams ran on the field. I guess ECU isn't liked, well I take the guess back, they aren't liked.

Man, me and my friends have always tried to pull off greatests for fun (my friend actually got one off in practice) and it is incredible to see one. A regular greatest is hard enough but this was a lay-out greatest PLUS he did a flick. That is incredible.

that is so fucking awsome, i been playing Ultimate Frisbee and thats so hard to do. My friend did it ones with someone getting a layout for the goal. Ofcourse he later tried it again but ended up throwing the disk into his defenders face and almost braking his nose

The white team (Jam) was on offence obviously, and the dark team was trying to D it, but instead they just macked (deflected) it towards out of bounds. One of the Jam players layed out from inbounds caught it and threw it before he hit the ground out of bounds (called a greatest) and one of his teamates caught it in bounds for a score.

White is on offense, trying to score in their end zone. The first guy in black is able to hit it away from the first guy in white. A second guy in black also hits it to keep it away from the man he is defending (the second guy in white), who is then able to chase it down and throw it back into the end zone while in the air. (If he had hit the ground while holding the disc, it would've been a turnover--the black team's disc.) Greatests don't happen often, but when they do it's pretty amazing!

The first guy in black was able to hit it away from his man, but since another JAM player was in the end zone, another defender tried to hit it away. If anything this is a reminder to always catch your Ds when possible! Heh.
