Saw him Sunday night in Vancouver - every song had a guitar "solo" which personally I don't care for. But his last batch of songs were great. This, Wild Party and a few of his other best. It was outdoors, beautiful evening - he played well.

Right up there with Alex Lifeson and Rik Emmett as the Best Canadian Rock Guitarist. I saw him in 89 and the Red River Ex and 92 at Sun Fest and he just kicked ass both times. He was the only reason why most of the people stuck around for Sunday that year. Anyone who likes his solo stuff should make sure they listen to Max Webster, too.

Well anyways, he has a little thing called, "Damn, I Wish I Wrote That." where he talks about song that he thought were so good, he wanted to write/play them. Pretty cool stories.
