Hmm. You Mac Plus seems to take longer from the beep to the boot process than mine. My Plus boots up in less than 10 seconds off an old Rodime20 External HD ( one of the slowest external hds made for the Mac).
@nysaea i have a problem,i want to download the games to my mac but if i insert da disk then da mac eject the disk :( can anyone help me with this problem?
well, did you make sure the floppy disk is readable by the machine? isn't it too big? (some don't read floppy disks above 600ko or so I think) how did you format the floppy? On which OS did you download the game? Usually the disk is ejected when the Mac can't read it so it might be due to a problem regarding the size or format of the disk ^^
I have one of these and when you turn it on i get a pic of a floppy disk with a question mark inside that flashes instead if the computer with the smiley face, but ifi let it warm up for an hour or two and then turn it off and back on it works. any ideas what the problem is.
you need to run system 6 on that thing and you will see a huge performance boost. Also, hitting the mac is only a temporary solution and you need to actually fix the analog board.
shufflepuck is an awesome game, there are an incredible set of options to change: pattle, board length, speed and difficulty.
