  • O'Donnell may have regretted doing Batman but look where he is now! G Callen in NCIS: LA. Then we have Jack Bauer, Oliver Platt and that Winning Nutter Charlie Sheen lol

  • Oh, God! I'd love this end! And the movie is so wonderful and lovely!!

  • 3:00 I can't believe they fell for that one. Now the queen is unprotected.

  • "All for one and one for all" basically means that they all have a duty to stand by and protect each other at all times.

  • You brought your brothers to the fight? SO DID I!

  • lol 2:49 HAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now see, that's WINNING (:

  • @terrask Lol forgot Sheen was in this movie

  • thank you Kate for some good childhood memorise.

  • the 90's and unfortunaly for o'donald he went to do batman and he would regret it for ever.

  • the 90's

  • my favorite movie of all times..I love this

  • All for One....and ONE for All...i love that!!!

  • Gotta love how completely inaccurate to the book this movie is...

  • looooove this part this movie is my favorite also the theme

  • four brilliant actors* (D'Artagnan was Gabriel Byrne, Porthos was Gérard Depardieu, Athos was John Malkovich and i forgot about the Aramis guy, Jeremy Irons)

  • @xehrya Yeah....i tot so...the Man in the Iron Masks' Three Musketeers have a more serious approach and better....maybe coz they're old men...lol...

  • hahah that part really cracked me up...i remember laughing my ass on this movie back then....it remembers me of the feeling i got when I've read Dumas's novels and laughed at the pranks and situations those 4 got into. anyway tough i liked this one my favorite was the darker/later (as in time-line related to the story) version of the man in the iron mask (and not because o DiCaprio...i don't like the guy, but because of the other three brilliant actors)

  • Man, this movie was awful.

  • 6 people wished Cardinal Richlieu succeeded.

  • @morningchaser HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA Thats really a good one xDD

  • Chris O'Donnell as Leonardo DiCaprio's father... damn, that's a hot dinasty!!

  • A pale imitation of the 1973 version.

  • @hubby11 this is not an imitation, simply another version of the same story, like The Musketeer in 2001. Of course, that still allows everyone to pick their own personal favorites :)

  • OMG its Jack Bauer!!

  • @pexy23 And Charlie Harper... AS THE RELIGIOUS ONE!!!

  • hehe "RUN!" (in squeaky voice) LOL!

  • yes, thankyou

  • lol, Charlie Harper was a musketeer. Great Movie!!

  • I like all versions of the three musketeers but this ones more funnier it's a great movie

I love the friendship between athos porthos aramis and d'artagnon thanks for uploading the movie

  • I never knew Kiefer Sutherland and Chris O'Donnell both played in this movie until recently! It is so awesome!

  • It's a movie like this that makes me clap at the ending even when totally alone in my apartment and watching at tiny YouTube resolution. XD

  • @tirsden How does the book end?

  • @BlitzChaos09 I can't remember the specifics, but it's like there's a whole second story after the main plot... which is quite different from the Disney version. Especially the alliances between "enemy" individuals. XD

  • @tirsden Thank you.

  • I remembered "ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL!" was in the book.

  • Amazing movie!! Love the ending better than the book.

  • @laylo1717 The Michael York version (The Three Musketteers and The Four Musketeers) actually follows the book, and although it is sad, it's an excellent piece of film-making. I highly recommend it. ^_^

  • This might not be very close to the book, but god, it's such a fun movie, I can watch it over and over again.

  • at this risk of sounding corny...I love this movie...I cant help but get choked up when King Louie knights D'artagnan into the Order of Musketeers

  • love this movie to death, but i seriously dought they would send like 100 of the finest soldiers of the erra, to leave the king for only 5 guys

  • My Dad is like Porthos, he tears up at the end lol. I love this movie.

  • The 5 people that dislike this were actually the 5 brothers in that scene

  • I always thought it was funny how at the beginning their feathers move the same way.

    But noone else does...

  • When that redhead shrieks, "D'Artagnan!!!" I cover my ears, its sooo high pitched. :S

  • Disney always does it best...for kids.

  • Because it's the most famous Book ever.....the most talked about book ever, the most written about book ever :-) how is one to understand the Old Classics in their fullness, unless they have read the Bible in some detail? The priest of darwin are thieving all the good stuff out of our classic favorites :-( their burning the true content in many books with knowledge white out.

  • @dsa8 msot famous book is teh bible msot widley read book by rulers is plutarch es lives. 3musketeers is in teh top 10 classics though and i liked it but prefer the count of monte cristo

  • I like the 1973 one better. It sticks to the book more.

  • @Skywalker598, the 1971 version is completely shallow and bawdy. Too many liberties with the novel. For instance, D'Artagnan never has sex with Madame Bonancieux, Kitty or Milady. Constance isn't clumsy. Monsieur Bonancieux isn't a sex-obssesed landlord. Planchet isn't so fat or stupid. The sequel "Retunr Of The Musketeers" was even worse. Disney made "The Three Musketeers" for kids, as they've done with the fairy tales ("The Little Mermaid," "Beauty And The Beast," etc).

  • @BibleJoker2Face Well you don't have to be so rude about it. I don't know why your so defensive .

  • Comment removed

  • @Skywalker598, I'm just expressing my opinion. I got called out on Amazon for having a sex obsession when I pointed out that Felton doesn't have sex with Milady in the novel, nor does D'Artagnan. Anyway, the reason i'm so "Defensive" as you put it, is because the 71 version is said to be closer to the book, when it clearly takes a lot of liberties with the original story. Disney did it best for kids.

  • @BibleJoker2Face its said read the book. lol then judge for yourself xd

  • @ricker01100, I did and made my judgment. Walt Disney Pictures did it better. Agree to disagree.

  • LOL!!!!

It's so hillarious how he comes in at the worst possible time and has over 1000 musketeers chasing down the street all at once! lol

  • Their saying if you mess with one of us you mess with all of us.

  • after a gay Zorro why not a gay Dartagnan...!

  • sorry LOL just realised sometimes when athos speaks lol it looks like he has rabbit teeth LOL thanks for uploading this ;D

  • Thanks for posting this is my favorite scene in the whole movie.

  • 5 guys versus oh...about 50 or 60 musketeers...yeah I'd be running for the hills as well.

  • lol look at him change is face 2:46

  • thought you may like this !!

  • what the hell is up wth charlie sheene, such a spectactular actor and such a shitty human being *sigh*

  • @stevensw like every great actor he is a mental case acting gets to you all that fame and shit goes to your head. You stop beign a normle perosn and you rjust this ego head that thinks the world belong to you and you can do what ever but hey his dad does a pretty good job or trying to clean him up.

  • Did you dub musketeers? Aren't they just another part of the army?

  • Can you put please the whole movie ?

  • hahaha! "dartagnon!" *little girl sounding shriek* "RUN!"

  • God, this is probably the funniest ending ever... cracks me up everytime

  • Shit, Julie Delpy is so beautiful.

  • @aquatodabone

man in the iron mask with leonardo dicaprio ;)

  • awesome disney live action movie too bad they dont make em like that anymore!

  • I love when Phortos starts crying and Aramis is like: O.o

  • That was a really triumphant ending. The crowd parts two ways and a flood of blue tunic-wearing swashbucklers chases D'Artagnan's enemy out of Paris forever. And I loved the fanfare, that was perfect.

I can't believe I never heard of this movie when I was a kid. I get the feeling it was severely underrated in it's time. Anyone old enough to recall?

  • They are "musketeers" : users of rifles, BUT their main weapon is swords :D Love it anyway :)

  • rifles = muskets ;)

  • Kind of an odd movie looking back on it now.

  • One of the best movies of all time! Severely under rated! Love the theme tune as well with Sting, Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart.

  • I agree! This last seen is my favorite. How about you?!

  • Oh yeh love this last scene! Definately one of the best in the whole film :) I also like the bit when all the muskateers reveal themselves to the ones in red just after the failed assassination of the king.. excellent movie! might just watch it tonight actually :)

  • This Movie is one of the best granted it doesnt follow the book very closely but an awesome movie in its own right

  • I Love This movie

  • lol all the musketeers chase after them... the king has no gaurds get him ahahahahahahaaaaaa

  • this is like an awesome movie...i've seen it a lot of times

  • Comment removed

  • my favourite version of the musketeers, and the best after The man in the iron mask with Jeremy irons!

  • His name is actually Irons!?!?!?!?

    HAHAHAAHAH!!!!!

  • you don't know Jeremy Irons?!!!

Where do you live? He is one of the greatest actors today

  • rarely seen a more amusing end.

Girard's (I think that was his name) face and then: 'RUN!!!' with all those musketeers chasing after him and his brothers. That really had me roaring with laughter.

  • Yeah lol that was funny!!!

  • its funny paul mcgann who plays girard actually has four brothers who are all actors.

  • the guy who talks at 0:37 is the same man who plays in starwars

  • Not quite. Keifer Sutherland hasn't done any star wars movies. You probably got confused with Ewan McGregor.

  • o, yeah i guess so

  • He does kinda look like Ewan. I always think of him when i see Kiefer as Athos.

  • haha yeah

  • Me too! He looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi in Attack of the Clones.

  • umm maybe he does plays it?? no idea

  • Nope, I thought so first to, but this is Kith Sutherland, Obi-wan is played by Ewan Mcgregor ;D But they are both AWSOME!

  • yeah indd, thankies

  • Oliver Platt is a big dude. I mean, they all have height because of the boots and costume, which makes him look like a giant among them.

  • I know! He's huge! lol. He's like a head taller than Charlie or Kiefer. It surprised me when i saw that.

  • ownage at end

  • "All for one, and one for all"

These are strong and honorable words.

  • Such a great ending to an awesome movie!
