found a fix for it not opening up properly u guys, with a little research i found that if u change the date on ur computer to 1-27-09 the game starts up lol wonder if the people at epic forgot about leap years? thanx to JILTED on the epic community forums :)

@hjordan01 all you do is go to the Daemon tools application in the bottom right of your toolbar, right click it, go to virtual devices mount device [0] or whatever, then search for the gears of war file and click it and open it with deamon tools. thats it.
