@kamikaze90watermelon He's not so old and his voice can recover fully......he had a powerful voice and u dont lose that forever..I mean look at Tom Jones hes 58 and his voice is powerful like a whole orchestra.
@Easleytee .......HAHAHA.....what kind of lonley moron keeps coming back to the same videos he claims he doesnt like just to comment for attention???....................Oh yea, YOU!!
I don't know why but whenever I reference this song in conversation I always call it by its prototype name The Shaman's Trance. I guess I just like that name more.
I repped Boston, saw DT for my 11th time. Killer as usual, plus Mike Mangini was an absolute animal, so much better than I thought he was, he truly shocked me and opened my eyes up. Trivium was incredible too, I felt most fans didn't appreciate them, the best opening act I will ever see for DT
The place I saw them at, the people at the venue were assholes, they took the NO CAMERAS rule to THE EXTREME!! But other than that, it was pretty much the same show as this. It really was the best show I've ever seen, and that intro was AWESOME!! So thanks for uploading this
Godlike seats bro. I'm certainly jealous. i really appreciate the video too. I'm getting married and I can't afford to go see the guys. These boots help me experience them live. THANK YOU!
@justaspectator01 lol that's hilarious... you'd probably have to head over to an ER before the song isn't over yet with serious brain damage. The same for the instrumental part in Outcry.
freaking nearly pissed my self when i found out that they used "Dream is collapsing" for an intro, one of my favourite movie scores, also this song is freaking sick
I am glad the crowd is quiet and is listening to the music. Thanks to them you can watch these live footages without being bothered by ridiculous screaming from the crowd.
I agree with Cambrand to a certain extent. If they start playing a sweet heavy riff like in Home or As I Am, I will probably involuntarily headbang. But when they do their more complex stuff (with odd time signatures, time signature changes, etc.) and more melodic based stuff, I'd definitely just be chilling, nodding my head, and appreciating the music :)
Great show I don't care about the crowd I know I had a great time and Dt is stronger than ever and at a new level I'm glad they decided to carry on without MP
I think saying "the crowd sucked" at a DT-show is kinda shooting yourself in the foot. Considering how advanced the music is, people mostly want to stand and just listen and enjoy the show. Going nuts and headbanging at least renders me unable to remember what I just experienced. I've been to alot of metal shows and 3 DT concerts and since I'm not headbanging on DT concerts, I can remember pretty much everything from it. The other shows I can't even remember visuals nor how it sounded
@Cambrand Not to bash the americans but if you watch any video shot at a European or Latin America DT show, you'll see the audience is almost always more wild and nuts. I think it's a cultural thing.
@RobResource It is dude.... You guys are what America was back in the 80's early 90's. Atleast that's what I've picked up on. Fucking Pop Culture will ruin America.... :( LONG LIVE DT!
@RobResource I went to a concert in South America and that was true, and it really annoyed me, cause if you're anything behind the first row, you most probably can't see much as opposed to if everyone would sit down. It really has a lot to do with respect to the people who's behind you. That's one of the reasons that in concerts in general I try to get a balcony, so I can actually see it, big plus! Going to the concert 3X on this tour and in 3 different locations, front row, middle and balcony.
@Cambrand i was headbangigng and fuck and i remember all the shit, i just noticed the people that attended the concert and were around me are not very fans of dream theater (at least not as much as me) [u know what i mean people that will only sing pull me under lol]
@Cambrand I agree with the most part of what you said, but still this crowd crossed that line between paying attention, enjoying the music and simply don't knowing or recognizing shit about the actual song.
@Cambrand It's for those exact reasons that I also never understood why people insist on getting drunk to the point of destruction before shows like this and they don't remember any of it the next day. Hell, you can drunk whenever you want, but it's not very often you have the opportunity to see musical gods like this perform live.
And thanks cosoriano for posting this vid. Awesome performance and sound (drums sound fucking beast here! =)

@Cambrand I agree! I was watching some concerts on YouTube and it just doesn't make sense to me. People are not really paying attention on the visuals at all, really... it's just like listening to a live show on CD/MP3. I always believed that a DT concert was to sit down and enjoy the visuals. You really can't beat the visuals especially on this tour and all the guys are doing while they are playing, it's just mind blowing!

@GuitarAndWow Not happening. His voice is ageing. There's no power in his highs anymore and that ain't coming back.
