  • After making over 50 CD cases in 2 years, I have decided to try the notebook method. Like the idea of seeing all my stamps without having to grab 7 or 8 CD's in a theme, when I want to make a card. I am also out of room and still have stamps to file away. Thanks for making the video.

  • I have heard that the cd cases can make your clear stamps disintegrate...Have you found this to be at all true? I am hoping that is just a rumor because storing them in cd cases would be so helpful for storage and organizational purposes.

  • @geegee622 Thanks for watching and your comments! I have been storing mine this way for over a year now, and I love it...it works very well, and haven't noticed any disintegration. I wonder if it is just a rumour and the fact that clear stamps don't last as well generally as rubber. I have noticed that lots of companys are switching to cling stamps again!

  • @scrapeahappy That could be. Personally I like wood mounted stamps better because I usually get a better impression. I actually put all of my stamps into clear cd cases tonight and I think it is going to be a great storage solution for me. Thanks for the advice. -Geegee

  • I bought a whole box of the thicker CD Cases (skinny ones are too thin) from Amazon.com. for about $25-huge box. Remove the black insert The open or"empty space" or "gap" is on the left. Make a long skinny label to fit that edge that is on the outside. I write on the label. Then I use Stampin Up's Snail on the side I wrote on and adhere, opposite from usual adhering. Mine store in a shoe box. Any stamp, rubber or polymer, can fit. Found this idea on You Tube, not original.

  • @facsmom Thanks for the great tip!

  • Hi! I really love the idea. Only thing is, my clear cd cases, when I remove the inside (where the cd goes) I get like a gap on the left side of the case, when it closes. Do you have the same problem?

  • Great idea! I will have to try this soon.

  • ahahahahaha asian i wounder what u got in there

  • Thank you...I'll check it out =)

  • @ggscrapstoo My pleasure! good luck with all your organization

  • I started putting my clear stamps in CD cases as well. Where do you find your cases? I like the organization method. I'll have to work on that piece.

  • @ggscrapstoo Actually my cd cases are my old ones from all the cds i bought over the years. Now with the IPod I don't need CDs or their cases, so I am using those. It is my way of reusing. I thought my husband through them out, but bless his heart he didn't. However, I was searching on Craigslist for them with people selling them for a few dollars for a bunch of them or for free even! Good luck with your storage!

  • Great idea! Think I will do it with my clear stamps. Right now they are just in a pile on a shelf!

    Thanks for sharing. Brenda

  • @snowcrystal05 You will like this method! I feel like it is so much more clean and organized. I want to use what I have rather than buying new! I think this is a way I will be able to do that well!

  • Great storage system for your clear stamps..I'm finding it is an ongoing struggle to keep my supplies organized! TFS
