It's weird.. I actually like the characters and their progression. If you play it, you'll understand. Fenris is like this slave that's been through so much, and your the one that can help it. I like how the game revolves around you. Yeah, i admit, the plotline isn't as good as DA:O. But i still liked it. Merrill, hate dby her own people but again, you're the one who can help.

Why don't they understand being attacked and defending yourself is completely different from going on a rampage? Of course you can fight back when attacked (and yes, the guards will likely help you fight off these attackers). That doesn't mean you can do what ever you want after and fight your way in the city

"I could get three times that if they would just let us in to the city". There's only one guy in the whole town who's thought of stepping out the gate. Buying something, stepping back in the gate, selling it for three times that. Also here accent sounds like someone trying to do an essex accent.
DA2 sucks compared to DAO. They focused too much on getting more people into playing with fancy combat techniques instead of letting us sit for hours, considering where to put our attribute and skill points.
Why does everyone hate on MW? Seriously, it's not a bad game. There are just people who can't play it properly. At least the campaign of MW and MW2 I have enjoyed quite a lot. Haven't had much chance to play it in multiplayer.

There is a certain category of computer reviews that are just frakkin unreliable.
the developer and/or publisher basically gives you list of things you should positively highlight about their game,
and so the opinion on the game is made by the people with the bias about the game.
the threat is, in the one or two cases I know of, that the publisher will never give you free copies to review and will not work with anyone that is working with you. it is blackmail, basicaly.
Please do more of these, I'm not sure it gets any better, but I love your game reviews and sometimes I need to take a brake from (or wait for your next) Shadow of Israphel. And I just generally want to see the game's story and the way you choose to play it... Thanks!
@gimp It does get better but then it also just gets more "repetitive"... I guess most peoples problem with it is although it has some good changes it feels more like a step back then forward. I liked the story but not the flexibility of it. You're kinda "Forced: in this game no matter how many choices you try to make. I don't recommend the DLC lol its crap.

And lastly, I could still hear most of the dialect.
Tbh you need to get further into the game for it to become more exciting, I mean in game the storyline spans a decade, and about six years of it is buildup and setting the scene, but in my opinion it get much better the longer you play it, it just takes a while to be drawn into it and I think that's the problem here, the game doesn't grab you straight away and that could make quite a lot of people lose interest, but it honestly gets better as it goes on, though I do still love the digs that are

I missed the talking in dragon age 2. My opinion I think there was to mutch pointless boring figthing in dragon age 2.

funny story. so i was doing my math homework and watching this at the same time, right? and i looked in the back of the book to CHECK my answer. and at 7:42 when you guys were thinking that waht the guy made sense, lewis said, "what sense does that make" and the book said, for the question, "none" and i was like "WTF!! my book is a yognaut!?!?!"

make more you have to get abit into it for you to understand the story it takes about 4 hrs for it to get intresting but the first one is sh#t at the start iswell and the mage is probaly the best option

game doesnt really get any better.
Deep roads was quite good but for the most part the game consists of Do a load of side quests, do 1 large quest, timeskip, repeat.
The story itself is dull and the most interesting thing going on gets wrapped up in Act 2.

I love your criticism!
There is a certain category of computer reviews that are just frakkin unreliable.
the developer and/or publisher basically gives you list of things you should positively highlight about their game,
and so the opinion on the game is made by the people with the bias about the game.
the threat is, in the one or two cases I know of, that the publisher will never give you free copies to review and will not work with anyone that is working with you. it is blackmail, basicaly.

Please do more of these, I'm not sure it gets any better, but I love your game reviews and sometimes I need to take a brake from (or wait for your next) Shadow of Israphel. And I just generally want to see the game's story and the way you choose to play it... Thanks!

@gimp It does get better but then it also just gets more "repetitive"... I guess most peoples problem with it is although it has some good changes it feels more like a step back then forward. I liked the story but not the flexibility of it. You're kinda "Forced: in this game no matter how many choices you try to make. I don't recommend the DLC lol its crap.

@panner11 With all due respect, Simon has clearly stated on multiple occasions that it's not his type of game and would show little interest in playing it, and as for the viewers, those who actually like the game would've already played through these scenes themselves and for those who haven't, well then again - this isn't exactly a full review, it's an opinion based playthrough, they're sharing what they personally feel about it. And lastly, I could still hear most of the dialect.

Tbh you need to get further into the game for it to become more exciting, I mean in game the storyline spans a decade, and about six years of it is buildup and setting the scene, but in my opinion it get much better the longer you play it, it just takes a while to be drawn into it and I think that's the problem here, the game doesn't grab you straight away and that could make quite a lot of people lose interest, but it honestly gets better as it goes on, though I do still love the digs that are

Yeah those two are a funny team. 7:49, love the Star Trek teleporter beaming in more enemies by the gate lolz. At least DA:O could code them walking through the door.
Now if the game beamed an enemy into a space already occupied, would the resulting explosion destroy the city?
