The juice is not really juice and thats why it doesnt fall out. It is actually a chemical that turns into jelly whenever exposed to oxygen. But it takes some time for it to turn into jelly, and thats why he was taking so long to flip the cup. ANd yes... he put a bird inside a cup.

The OJ was turned into a gel using a cheap pratical joke product. Fun trick to pull on your drunk buddy at a party. It will turn any liquid into a gel in about 5 to 10 seconds. The powder was prob already in the bottom of the glass, you can tell the OJ looks a little off, like as in not moving in the glass as it moves. Good partial revealing of the trick, but this should take care of the outstanding question.

Its not OJ, its water with orange food coloring, thats y it appears on the table when he comes back, they put the prop there in the 2nd shot. Now, notice how he's holding the bottom of the glass-he's hiding the powder substance already in the glass that solidifies water-when he pours it-the water solidifies and stops moving around in the glass..the biggest giveaway though is when u see the glass on the table at the end with the trick mirror and some hardened orange stuff still inside LOL

You see he switched from one hand to the other? He did that to turn the bottom of the glass which subsequently closed a seal that was keeping in the bird, but now keeps in the OJ.

He uses a product that gels liquid to a jello like state instantly. It comes in a white powder and you only need a little bit to gel alot of liquid. check magic stores they sell it. Goes under different names but one is magic gel. Notice the glass is orange on the table, that's the jellied orange juice in the glass. Of course the bird was on the other side of the glass.

he's pouring juice SLOWLY into a large cup meaning it should have filled up slowly but it filled up quite quickly. that just shows that yes, there is a mirror dividing the cup in half, the bird (obviously trained) was squished on the other side, but i have no idea how the orange juice stayed. also, at 0:43 you can see the mirror reflecting the light.

think of it this way....when he's pouring the oj into the cup there is a lid that is hinged on the mirror, in the center of the cup, and the lid is on the side where criss is pouring the oj into...as the oj reaches the lid it will float on top sort of like a boat or a dock. Then when criss flips the cup over the rush of the oj pushes against the lid and seals it in....not perfect but somethig to that effect is my thought
