They do their best to bring back a feeling that some of us cut our teeth on ...and we love it. The feeling is almost like being back there again- there is nothing wrong with feeling good again like we did in those days. Jim would be happy about it.
Ian knows he's not Jim Morrison. I give him credit for having the cajones to step in the shoes of a legend knowing full well the event was ripe for critique.
when i heard ian was going to sing w/ ray and robbie i freaked out.....saw them in nj,at pnc,,,,i had chills...so great......also got the dvd b-4 they pulled it.....
I think its fantasic that they do this stuff, but to be completly honest, with jim gone.....I just find it a bit depressing. Its a shame because it really is great.
I am in awe of the Doors, and always have been since I first saw them in 1965 , but Jim Morrison , God rest his soul, sure was a mean, condescending fool when he was drunk :) But then, he was just a wild and crazy kid
Saw them a few years back and Ian was fricking amazing..

@alexon0119 Porquería? Son los auténticos Doors, imbécil. Como comprenderás; estando muerto, Jim no puede aportar mucho...

@slutwhisperer Many should think like you. He's not Jim but he did the best he could and you can't fault him for that. Love his shout out to Jim.

this is a new era so let's give them credit cause they proved that they can still play and have a modern sound, fantastic all of them.
