I doubt it........it even states that the space pirates are constantly "rebuilding" mother brain, ridley, kraid, and other abominations they have created.
I don't get it. You kill Ridley in one of the original Metroid games(I don't remember which one) then you kill him in Metroid Prime 1, then you kill again in the beggining of Prime 3. And then AGAIN you fight him later in Prime 3. What is he, invicible?
Also, I don't know if this one really counts, but don't forget Mecha Ridley in Zero Mission (Zero Mission or Fusion, I actually, kill me, forget which). Technically he's not Ridley, but I guess honourable mention, right?
True true..........its part of the extra ending in Metroid Zero Mission even though it isnt a metal plated version of the real one.......but rather a robot created that looks like him.

Mother Brain was destroyed later on in Super Metroid (I know the order of the Metroid Games btw haha) but i think its because Ridley is a bigger trademark then mother brain that he makes so many more apperances. I think that Ridley appeared TOO much in the prime series though but mother brain will NOT replace ridley. Also, for those who confuse the aurora units with mother brain. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING AT ALL.
Somehow I don't feel like mother brain would really fit into the prime series since its really a stationary type boss and remember that mother brain cant be in the prime series because half the pirate platoon is on Zebes trying to rebuild her while the other half discovered Phazon.

The aurora units were not based on mother brain at ALL. The only connection between aurora units is that, LIKE mother brain, they are organic supercomputers
aurora units were NOT inspired by mother brain. I guess as a spin off cameo retro thought of that but mother brain was developed by space pirates WAY before the federation discovered the aurora units and they actually do not look that similar. Ill ask my friend whos higher up in the retro ranks then i am haha
all i said that there is no dening that they look a little bit alike, and it may not have been inspired but they definetly took the idea of a computer from M. brain

Yea man, I think that the delays and then the undelays really made them not do their best. Prime 1= GOD Prime 2= Still had that same good music and was pretty challenging.......this game was like wtf happened to retro and nintendo but it was still ok
I was very weak minded, and it was my first time playing a shooter with Metroid Prime...in other words, I never beat it. The first stage creeped me out too much, and all I was usally used to was fast, non-surprising stuff and I was too afraid of the dead bodies laying around...so I never played it.
Now with MP3, I love it. I don't really see the problem, why do you think Prime 1 is so much better than prime 3?
play through the entire prime 1 and you'll see what I mean man. And your right that first level was a lil creepy for me 2 haha but ALL prime games had that lil creepy part (like when you first see phazon metroids). BUt i liked the first one so much because the music and it was basically the first prime game with that new experience and type of gameplay that really made me like it so much.....plus the story just had me hooked. BUt don't get me wrong i like ALL the prime games.
I thought one of the bodies would get up and attack, lol. Metroid does get creepy, and scary,. like when monsters go into hyper mode. But yeah, I just got to the part in 3 where you beat the fifth boss and get more currupted...but I don't understand why I didn't get another energy tank slot..is it because I'm on normal? But yeah, these games are great; and I can't wait for Brawl so I can play with Zero-suit Samus.
I have about 8/14 and I just beat Omega Ridley...Samus look like monster now. (look at her face as she gets more corrupted, it changes every time.) Her skins green now...I don't think I can concentrate well enough to finish, lol.

oh jeez man beat prime 1 right now haha. That is the key to the story line. The Prime series were really captivating cuz of the strolyine. Prime 2 was ok I thought. A lil too puzzly. This game was ok too but prime one,,,,,,,,,,,nintendo made a god that day haha

Yea i know the quality on this pic sux. When Omega Ridley enters the arena there arent any clear shots to get on him so i couldnt increase the quality but its still him =)

Most badass version of Ridley, this version has huge dark blue phazite armour and he looks more mechanical than in the other versions.

The storyline isnt the same as the order the games came out in. And they rebuild ridley many times.

You know, Metriod prime 3 isn't considered lastest in the series story wise. Meaning one day Ridley will be replaced by Mother brain...
