Awe. This is so sad.

I was never very close to any of my grandparents, but I was sad when the three I knew died.

You were obviously very close to your grandpa, and I'm so sorry for you.

I've never seen the movie, but this video was very beautiful.

Thank you. And while I miss him terribly. I'm just happy to know that he's not hurting anymore. He was in alot of pain towards the end, he hated being where he was, and he just wanted to go home. It might not be the home I wanted, but now he is home, and I know he's happy, and that makes me happy, even though I'm sad he's gone. If that makes any sense. D:

In my opinion you can never put a time on someones life. I'm sorry for your granpa and hope things go smoothly. I always like to mourn but also beleive that he'll come back to you someway or the other, as a family member or even an animal.

My great grandma has lung cancer and she's still only 78, they told her she has 6 months to 5 years and its been 2, she had a whole lung removed. She came up to visit from Cali to here Montana and acted well but she wasn't.

I agree very much. A very good friend of mine got brain cancer several years back, and they said she had 5-10 years left. ... 4 months later she was gone.

Dragonheart is one of my all time favorite videos, and my grandpa loves dragons. So it seemed fitting.

And thank you. He's been going downhill for awhile now, and we've been told he likely only has about 6 months left, but they're can't give us a definitive time line. It could be a few months, or maybe a few years. I hope the latter obviously, but we don't know for sure.
