  • my favourite rodarte collection ever. especially that kind of marbled leather-shiny metallics patchwork. i love it.

  • So why did the collection by MAC for Juarez dont look anything like this?

  • @teporchuchis Because the collection you are talking about is from fall-winter 2010-2011 and NOT 2009-2010(this one.)

  • Stunning, these girls are the best of NY. WIthout doubt, there is no other american fashion deisgner out there who has an aesthetic as innovative as they and the intricate attention to detail in the handmade garmets are out of this world.

It is just a bit sad that no mortal person can spend $5000 on a knitted sweater even if the handcraft, uniqueness and quality of materials justify the price tag Those of you out there who can afford Rodarte , don't feel guilty! Support these artists, please!

  • i dont see what the big deal is about rodarte . their clothes are nasty..

  • i think they have some great ideas an good concepts and always have a unique and novel colour scheme but they are getting a bit too samey. it's like they have had three good ideas and used them in every collection. As in a draped silohette and cob webby knits mixed with leather. i love to see them do something more tailored and structured, very simple strong and graphic focusing on the cut. i think that would make such at strong collection if they could do that.

  • amazing

  • Please, not ready for prime time. You have got to be kidding me. Better than Lagerfeld? Better than Galliano? Wang? They are okay for L;A, - which is not exactly a fashion town.

  • they are definately beter than alexander wang, i so dont get him.

  • i'm all for avant garde... but this was far too tacky for my taste.

  • I sooooo love Rodarte. It's my new fav. so 360

  • I admire Kate and Laura but this collection's silhouette is too much like Belenciaga spring 2007. Hopefully they survive the recession. They are the most creative American designers but would anyone really pay $5000 for garments that are more worthy of museums than the real world.
