  • Love the quote butchering! How about you let him explain why these things need to be done. He explains are your questions, and how they will actually make things better. The reason college is so expensive is because of the student loan system. We increase the federal loan amount, so the colleges then increase their tuition. and the process repeats. College used to be a lot cheaper. Look up the answers to all your other questions and you'll find he's quite logical.

  • If only the airline passengers on 9/11 had guns. ..!!.. Vote Ron Paul in 2012

  • Worst video i've ever seen. "U WOULD ALLOW PASSENGERS TO HAVE GUNS??" Yes we are in America, we have a right to bear arms.

  • The person who has uploaded this video is an idiot. Although, his words will never ring out past words of truth and critical thought! So, how about you, the person who uploaded this video, leave our great country and do not come back until you can make use of critical thinking!

  • The answer to all your "unanswered questions" is THE FREE MARKET. How is it that people have shoes to wear and cars to drive without a federal agency providing them for us? Are they only for the ultra rich?? No. The SUPREME GOVERNING BODY known as THE FREE MARKET makes goods and services affordable to the masses through competition. Bust the government monopoly and the same will happen in education. Ron Paul answers these questions when he speaks, if you will only listen to him.

  • @spencerbroadbent exactly. Ron Paul has answered these questions.

  • You did absolutely no reading or research before producing this video...what a waste of your time and ours to not do your homework whatsoever. Ron Paul has been answering these questions for well over 20 years. Read a little bit and try again please.

  • Ron Paul's book The Revolution: a Manifesto, would answer these questions very nicely.

  • @Lehcs1 it's an incredible read you know!!!

  • what part of "let the states handle these matters" you did not understand, he would only like to cancel the 'FEDERAL' authorities on these matters

  • Nice slick video. You might want to pawn it off on FOXnews because this is right up their alley. Ron Paul is the only guy that is capable of leading the people and this country away from the Neocon agenda and yes, it is an agenda- their agenda. And you have obviously not read or studied anything that he has said in detail on what has been going on for the last 10 yrs. Nice try though. How's that job going pitching for the NEOcons anyway?

  • guns are not a bad thing.

  • So you called up Ron Paul and he refused to answer these questions?

I think you will find plenty of answers if you read up / watch up on more of what he's got to say.

  • What is unanswered about these questions? Subsidizing anything makes it more expensive by driving up demand unnaturally. By removing education subsidies, less people would go to college, but how many people with college degrees are working in McDonald's anyway? Not everyone should get a college degree because not everyone needs one, not everyone can use one, and when they are given out just to capture federal funding, standards are reduced and a degree means less.

  • Education and Health Care costs have soared since the Government began taking over them in the 1960's. They got expensive after the government began backing loans and grants let students stay in debt for longer at higher prices. Healthcare got expensive when the government and health insurance got into regulating and paying out more than their services were worth and drove the prices up for everyone.9/11 would never have happened if people on the planes were armed instead of defenseless.

  • This video is fucking stupid. RON PAUL 2012!

  • He has a web site where you could get your "questions" answered. There are also Facebook pages where you could contact someone who knows. It's too long to explain in these little comment boxes. Ron Paul is America's last best hope.

  • what a hopelessly retarded video.

  • The reason all this looks so fucked up is that we live in a world were the common person is insane.

Yes, the government shouldn't control education, that streamlines it, and therefore streamlines people's minds.

The whole idea of College is weird anyway, shouldn't all education be free?

Our medical institutions are based on making money rather then helping people, anyway.

The Government's place is not as the public babysitter, if the people want to do something, do it, that's what freedom is.

  • ? anything would be better than what your gov't is offering and doing now, and proof of this is that Americans are the less healthy people of the G8 (of course there are those who live in some reclused parts of G8 countries but that doesnt count because it is not a normal situation to begin with).

  • Comment removed

  • Beyond ignorant. Completely taking what Ron Paul said out of context and cutting it up.

Was this a motion piece you did while you were interning at fox news or msnbc?

  • haha. was this a joke?

  • All government supported programs, like tuition fees. public schools and government sponsored lending pusches prises up. Along with that, Federal reserve printing press doesn't stop, so inflation is inevitable. Usually, parents saved money - that didn't loose its value - to pay for their childrens education. Today, that offer would be rejected by many as people would say that their money would not be worth anything in the future if they kept saving it.

  • What a waste of time really. It is nothing more than an attack ad, devoid of any real attack.

No wonder it has a 1.5 star rating.

Ron Paul is not the answer, but Obama/Reid/Pelosi SURE AS HELL are not the answer.

Vote out ALL INCUMBENTS IN 2010, AND THEN AGAIN IN 2012!!!!!!

THEN WE NEED TO PASS AN AMENDMENT THAT FORCES CONGRESS TO SPEND WITHIN OUR MEANS AND ALWAYS ADOPT A BALANCE BUDGET. MEANING PROGRAMS THAT WILL GO OVER BUDGET DO NOT GET PASSED. SIMPLE, I KNOW.

  • @mtb416 caps lock does not make you cool

  • good, it wasn't my intention

  • haha so dumb you just made yourself look like an idiot buddy.

  • way to edit everything out of context

  • that's an understatement. lol. Jeez.

  • I'm sorry you don't have the foresight or aptitude to see beyond a failing system.

  • Nice video fuckhead, see you on The Road when our currency collapses and your out trying to but food with Ameros.

  • was this made with after effects and cinema 4d too? thanks :)

  • I have an unanswered question -

Who in the world is Ron Paul? :)

  • funny you'd ask that on the Information Highway...

    Google: Ron Paul

  • Because you know it was guns that you know... toppled two seventeen hundred some odd foot tall buildings..

Oh wait, no it was assholes with BOX CUTTERS, PLASTIC TOY EXPLOSIVES AND TWO FUCKING GIANT JUMBO FUCKING JETS!!!

    ...

    but guns are dangerous, mkay?

And apparently? So are nipple-rings and shampoo.

  • Well those are really pretty graphics dude, but politically this video is a flop. Those questions are already answered, you just need to research in greater depth.

  • Do you think any Airline company in their right mind would allow guns on board. Use your head man. The Department of Education is forcing teachers to go by THEIR curriculum, and lowering the standards of our education. Ron Paul wants to keep those who are on medicaid on it, but wants to find an alternative way to handle health expensese, and to get rid of the Federal regulations that allow health companies to increase the expense of the health care. You didn't think this video through.

  • Fed loans arent the only ways people get into College... He says nothing about State funded ones. Sure medicare is nice, but whos paying for it? LOOK AT THE DEBT.

  • With less government intervention in the medical industry with more competition, the medical expenses will naturally drop. Education will be handled at the state level and be held accountable by the parents.

  • Dude, I don't think I'm smart enough to own a gun or educate my self.

Good thing I've got the government to take care of me.

  • hahahahhahahahaha.... yea, ok!

  • Apparently you believe that the government should deliver goods and regulate prices. Ron Paul may not be your guy...

  • Dude, I totally trust the government to run my life. Didn't you know 2+2=5? Ha, I'm surprised this dude took so much time and effort to display such stupidity.

  • well..if you wish to have a government run your life...go live in Cuba.

  • Akumalotus, maybe you want to re-read my comment:

"Dude, I totally trust the government to run my life. Didn't you know 2+2=5? Ha, I'm surprised this dude took so much time and effort to display such stupidity."

I'm being sarcastic until the last sentence. For some reason, you didn't get the 1984 reference.

  • If you care to find the answers you simply search before you spend your time trying to discredit your brothers.

May God have mercy on you

  • Second Amendment Day

If you really desire to wake up the power elites, send them the second, most powerful message possible. Exercise your second Amendment rights, imagine 1,000,000 Americans purchasing, a self-defense weapon on the same day. I suggest, a good day would be, Presidents' Day February 18, 2008. It is much better to be respected than liked. Or practice saying please don't. This message is intended to be nonviolent but assertive.

  • Wow, what a non-sensical cartoon. This must be what the government thinks of our brain capacity, too stupid to follow a logical argument, and enthralled by pictures. So must believe we are stupid enough to think Ron Paul is suggesting the destruction of values, rather than the federal institutions which have hijacked the management of those already existant social institutions. Utterly typical condescending moronic nonsense.

  • And let the smearing begin! it's official. Also, nice graphic do not equal truth.

  • looks like someone wasted a bunch of time on the graphics...

    hope it wasn't taxpayer money....

  • I teach in the Public Schools and NONE of the educators I speak with are happy about the Federal Policies. There is no evidence that the Federal Gov.t's funding and managing of the Public Schools has improved education in this country; the numbers actually indicate academic decline when compared to other nations. Returning to local/State control makes much more sense! Ron Paul 2008!!!

  • @jasondeckerr

Jason is right. I teach in the Public Schools too and I have never heard of a teacher speak positively about the federal Dept. of Education or NCLB.

  • you have got to be kidding me? if you are going to go out on a limb and make a video, you had better come stronger than that. if you did go to college, you couldnt have graduated due to the fact that your research skills are awful. you cant just come on here and make bullshit vague statements and expect to be taken seriously. you should come correct next time. just a thought.

  • With the money we won't be paying in income tax we will have to pay for our own education and medication ect..

  • The last words are, "So the airline industry can allow passengers to have guns?" Let's contrast this to Dr Paul's real position. He prefers the airlines to have the responsibility, not the giant bureaucracy of the fed. No armed passengers, just the airline holding the responsibility..not the fed. It's back to the idea that the market should determine (if the airline didn't do a good job of protecting their passengers no one would fly on their airline). So do we want freedom or tyranny?

  • good questions, dude

  • "the man with nothing to lose should be feared the most"

what drives a person to this point? how bout if they killed your family? if they massacred your country? The only thing that makes sense is that terrorists attack us because we fucked with them for so long.

listening to the founding fathers solves this. dont be aggressive militarily. if china attacked us, wouldn't we be pretty pissed?

pulling out cuts th eroot of the terrorist's motives.

  • 2) people with guns gain so much control and power of the situation, only because everyone else doesn't. Would you brandish a gun in a room full of people with shotguns? id think twice.

On the plane isn't the only place to stop "terrorists" its all of the times before in the airport. only if you are suicidal in the first place would you go on.

    which leads to terrorism

  • If we used backed money, and not fiat money, get rid of the FED, we would have enough purchasing power, as well as raw dollars from absence of income tax to obtain SELF SUFFICIENCY

  • 1) health care/ income tax/ everything else that brings up the question of "how does ____ afford it?"

its all about money. if we had more money we would not need to depend on the government for any of their carrots! we pay nearly half of our income to the government. and the FED in turn prints money out of thin air (why can't I have a money printing machine in MY back yard?) which then reduces the purchasing power of the fruits of our labors. This hurts the poorest the most.

  • I believe the maker of the video has raised legitimate and intelligent questions that need to be clarified for everyone else as well. Even if he meant it as slander, which it is obviously not, an equally intelligent response MUST be given.

  • All of this is foolishness. The reason college is expensive in the first place is because of government subsidies - look it up it's documented. If airports had the right to protect their interests, they could CHOOSE to allow pilots or other armed employees on the plan, and CHOOSE whether or not to allow passengers to carry. He is against the Dept of ED because he believes in STATES Rights - thats what it all boils down to.

  • Ron Paul said the pilots should be able to have a gun so that they could defend themselves. 911 would have never happened, as well as this war in Iraq if pilots had wepons that day. He never once said passengers should have them

  • This is retarded. I hate watching half of shit. There's about 3 total seconds of Ron Paul's actual words. You know he's not saying anything like, "Yeah, I totally plan on letting dudes on planes with guns cuz fuck America, am I right?" I personally like gun control, cuz I live in the murder capital of the world, Philadelphia... but this is just a bullshit video. It's so one-sided.

  • You forget that the college and the health expenses would be paid for by the thousands that people could save when the federal income tax is abolished, as Ron Paul also mentioned. He also did not say that airlines WOULD allow guns on planes nor did he say that it was a good idea. He simply was making a statement that taking away our right to bear arms only INCREASES the already large discrepancy between the criminal's ability to harm us and our ability to protect ourselves and our families.

  • The department of education is no longer necessary. The open source / wiki movement is bringing an entirely new system of education, and the government's role will be obsolete in a decade.

  • great graphis but neo-conned.

  • its the pilots on the airlines that could be allowed to carry guns (not passengers). Unfortunately federal laws prohibit pilots from having guns and they were powerless to resist men carrying box cutters.

Ron paul has answered the other questions in various interviews, look around.

  • whats wrong with you? cant you see?

  • um, if I got to KEEP my income taxes, I could AFFORD health care. Instead, my money gets taken away to pay a beaurocrat's salary so that they can give my money back to me in the form of medicare blah blah when I'm older....seems much more inefficient just by the sound of it, and in practice? Definitely Taking peoples money and giving it back to them is not as good as letting them keep it in the first place, I don't know why that's not obvious but some socialists don't get it.

  • I didn't get any federal loans to help pay my way through college. I recieved a Bright Futures Scholarship, a state-funded program, and a private scholarship given out by a local entrepeneur.

  • Ron Paul answers these questions explicitly in the hour-long interview and Q&A session he gave a google. Search youtube for the string: "Ron Paul Google"

  • Question 3:

No airline would stay in business in a free market if they allowed passengers to carry guns. It would be foolish business decision and they would be flying empty planes. Ron Paul is simply saying that airline security and pilots should be allowed to be armed to protect their planes and passengers rather than having to rely on the government to do if for them.

  • Question 2:

What he was addressing with Medicare was that with the success of free markets there would no longer be a need for Medicare. He hopes to one day reach that goal. I watched that specific interview and not once did he say he intended to abolish Medicare immediately. Not once did he insinuate that he intended to abandon people who needed assistance.

  • + WHO rates the US health care system @ #37 in the world.

It is a travesty that a "SuperPower" is even out of the top 5, let alone ranked #37!

Gov't intrusion is killing our health care system and tying the hands of our great Dr in the USA know.

As Ron Paul, being a doctor would know!

  • Question 1:

No, not for only the ultra rich. Just because the money won't come from Big Brother anymore doesn't mean you can't get student loans. Public education would not cease to exist either. States would operate their own schools as they always have done and should do. The Department of Education is wasteful and intrusive. Ronald Reagan was of this same opinion.

  • What??? It's almost like he's saying that people can live their lives with a minimum amount of government intervention. That's crazy talk! People can't take care of themselves! Everybody knows that we have to give up all our individual liberties so that we can get freedom(tm) from the government.

  • The government cannot give us anything that it does not first take from us! You are a sheep. May your slaugher be merciful for you do not know you are being led to it!

  • stupid video.. I like how people think if the state doesnt control education/healthcare it wont exist at all.. LOL !

  • Vote for Hillary! Vote for 'No city left without a mushroom cloud.' Vote for gas and food shortages to toughen Americans! Vote for terrorists running amok through city wastelands! Vote for anarchy and tyranny and corner-store torture! Vote for the fifth fleet on the bottom of the ocean and Blackwater running Mexican troops through American Streets! Don't forget to vote for your own destruction in 08! Remember folks X by the HildaBeast!

Don't vote for Freedom and Prosperity Ron Paul!

  • Since you didn't have a reason for saving the Dept of energy my guess is you already know the mess they have caused and you have no negative rebuttal to getting rid of it. Why did you even include them in your silly video? Is it because you know socialistic control of resources have slowed the progress of alternatives to oil? You know lobbyists hired by oil companies have bought their prosperity directly from the Dept of Energy.

Nice try but all your points are moot. Have a nice day.

  • The 3rd question is a complete spin. The airlines have the responsibility to protect their passengers. That does not equal everyone carrying a gun. If the Airline allowed passengers to carry guns then nobody would fly. But having hired security or allowing pilots to arm themselves is what Dr Paul has said and you are completely off base.

  • 2nd Question.

Medicare has made the prices rise because when Government pays everyone charges the max possible. Universal health care takes away the freedom to decide what sort of medical treatment citizens can receive, it leaves the decisions up to HMO's. The only groups happy with socialized medicine is pharmaceutical companies an d HMO's. Take a look at Canada and see how happy they are. Research a little.

  • Unanswered question #1

    Dept of Ed

Since the Federal government has taken control of education and taken the responsibility away from the parents and local government we have seen a dramatic decline in what schools are putting out compared to other countries. Take a second and research.

  • Just because he said airlines should be absolutely responsible for their own security does not in any way mean that they would begin to allow passengers to carry handguns on the flights. Instead what this means is that security would likely remain either at the level it is now, or perhaps even a higher level, because THEY themselves would ultimately be responsible... it would be absurd for an airline company/ airport to allow unsafe policies to prevail.

  • Furthermore the bottom line that you are missing here is WE ARE CAPABLE OF DOING THINGS FOR OURSELVES. Maybe if you did not have the crooked spoon of Big Government in your mouth, you would realize that the other hand is in your wallet.. and THAT is the dominant hand for sure.

  • College only for the ultra rich? Are you kidding me? I am a premed student and I don't have a job. I spend my entire day in lectures and labs and the rest of the night in the library studying! How do I afford it? It's called grants, scholarships, and student loans that are defered until after graduation.

    This video is absurd!

  • Doctors earn what they make. Anyone that believes otherwise needs to walk in the shoes of a medical student for just a month. Doctors aren't rich, they're in debt $200k straight out of Med school! If you allow a Universal healthcare plan the quality of doctors will drop and we will be in the same situation as Canada is in right NOW. The goverment should not be allowed to meddle with public school systems.

Ron Paul read the constitution. Have you?

  • Also, I think I would rather the airlines be responsible for their own safety rather than using the FAA as an excuse. I would assume that once the FAA isn't a viable excuse any longer, the airlines would then again be legally responsible for their own safety which would lead to a tradeoff between (a) safer airlines or (b) cheaper airlines. That way, people are free to see how much safety is worth to them.

  • For the college issue, from an economic perspective, federally subsidized college loans only increase demand on a college education (more people are able to go to college that couldn't afford it and wouldn't have gotten enough scholarships to go otherwise), which then leads to increasing prices. Note that the school tuitions increased fastest after the FAFSA while college endowments are the largest ever.

  • As you can see, Ron Paul is one scary individual! He hears things via a direct link from Planet Paul! You have to have a RP Decoder ring to understand where he's coming from. Aparently his supporters get that, with their T-shirt and Revolution kit.

  • Hmmm. I wonder if the anti-Paulites have ever thought about working their own way through College instead of going to college at taxpayers expense? GO RON PAUL!

  • Well, I can tell you I am paying my own way through college, without grant money. I hold a full time job too and go to school full time. Not sure what that has to do with this debate though.

  • 2 jobs here paying my way through college with 15 credits. Go Paul!

  • Give money to Ron Paul via his toll-free number. Call 1-877-RON-PAUL or 1-877-RON-2008. Spread the word to older folks without the internet.

  • I will answer your questions - Colleges will be for students who actually can earn scholarships. Yes, you will pay for your own healthcare. And Airlines may allow passengers to carry guns. Basically none of these enterprises exist without serving (students, patients, passengers) customers. So lets transfer the responsibility to them, let them figure out how to survive else let them die. Its better that way so better business can emerge from their ashes.

  • LOL, your video is to easy to make fun of. Can't you do better than that?

  • lol you're a moron... you cant fool the already awake...

  • Do Keen an open mind daftcain....

Bush declared "War on Terror" Not "War with Saddam" Ron Paul has a solid plan of the "Unjust war in Iraq" "Just Come Home"

If you research you will know his plan for America.

"Freedom Starts with Individual Responsibility" - Dr. Paul

Freedom is something for US to cherish and NOT abuse. It's not appropriate for anyone to go into your yards & tell you it is filthy! even though it is...

  • This would go over pretty well on TV, maybe during a Springer or Montel show. The people who watch that nasty, horrid Sylvia Browne might buy into it.

It ain't selling anything here, the people are too informed.

    Next.

  • This is total distortion. Ron Paul 2008

  • The end of the Department of Education would be a blessing in a way.

    watch?v=pfRUMmTs0ZA

Also, colleges need to make money too, once they see that they can't charge such ridiculous prices with abandon and suckle off government-distributed funds, they might just shape up their programs while being competitive with prices/variety/reputation/etc if they want to survive.

  • A total blessing!! All it has done is dumb down American citizens. I can't believe how school curriculum today compares with when I went to school. Its all about passing those state tests and nothing else, and that has really narrowed the scope of learning for students.

  • Ron Paul has answered every question you asked, i think the best place to find them all in one place would be the Google interview.

Government is not the answer, more government is certinly not the answer, government is the problem.

Return to the Constitution and the rule of law!

  • nice try kid...you better go back to the drawing board.

  • Nice design work. All those questions are answered by Ron Paul. The last Ron Paul quote was just repeated as a question.

  • I like this. Take a 5 second sound byte and spin it to make it show your point of view without addressing the issue in detail or utilizing a full Ron Paul response.

f*cking spin doctor.....another Frank Luntz in the making.

    FUCK YOU FRANK.................

  • Ron Paul should take support from any American. Ron Paul is the only candidate whose policies, principles and ideals would allow Americans to live in freedom, cooperation and peaceful coexistence. He is the only candidate who will not be used to by some Americans to rule, control and rob other Americans. Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands that freedom is the solution to the human condition. This is a whole new ball game. This is not one group against another.

  • wow this guy is a total dumbass....

  • wow how ignorant of you, every point taken completely out of context. gj being a dumbass.

the hard part about making a FAIR point is that it can't be absolutely biased and bullshit as this OBVIOUSLY is. go be a homo somewhere else, i hear B.C. is hiring.

  • did you seriously waste that much time making a video like that? spend that time reading and you might have the answers you are looking for

  • College is more expensive now than ever, and the quality is down, down, down. Thanks a lot, Department of Education.

The problem is that the people are so uneducated, they don't even know what the country was like before the federal government got involved in education, health care, etc.

  • LAME. Nice fear tactics. He has answered those questions you posed. Why not show them.

  • Nice graphics, shame about your brain

  • Well done /technically/ - rate 4, but it is a pile of fears and superstitions. Learn economics , the true will set you free.

  • +1, very nice graphics, and in all truth, good questions. Hopefully the Q's were honest ones and now the author of the video has there answers from fellow Americans on this thread.

    Peace.

  • nice edit there where ron paul answers the question and says that people shouldnt be allowed to take guns on planes. He sais that the air line should be responsible for security on the plane and not the government.

  • The airline corporations can allow passengers to bring guns onto airplanes... yes. And OF COURSE they can also choose to DISallow passengers to bring guns onto airplanes.

So which option do you think airlines will choose to exercise?? D. U. H.

  • Ron Paul was taken out of context, deliberately misleading since all those questions are not 2sec questions...

  • it's called liberty my friend and it WAS the American experiment until creeping socialism and cartels have formed to take it away. live free or die.

  • You know Ron Paul is a serious contender when folk will put a serious effort into spin and out of context sound bites like this.

  • Yup! Hillary did this herself...Go Dr Ron Paul!

  • You have great TV production skills.

Theres an official TV ad competition for Ron Paul here: watch?v=KF8hewUaK6A

That is if you are not against him.

  • As for Gun rights.. my own personal belief is airlines would arm their pilots and not the passengers. Regardless, its up to the AIRLINE to protect its passengers... and its up to the CUSTOMER to choose the airline they want to fly on to be safe.

  • Ask yourself WHY do we have growing health costs? Why is this single sector going up in the last few decades more than anything else? Because of government mandated health insurance. Someone said "I want everyone to be insured" and now we have 50 MILLION uninsured. 50 years ago a Doctor would charge reasonable rates to not screw his patients... now he gets to screw the insurance companies... and that comes back to bite EVERYONE right in the ass.

  • DOCTOR Ron Paul can tell you one reason we have rising health costs: the greed of arrogant doctors. He may not be one of them, but most are not giving back much to the system that adores them. And of course Drug Co's are beholden to their investors. Another response is to look at France and Canada for how to run a health care system. They're imperfect, but at least they're not cold-blooded. You are definitely right about the insurance companies being a cause.

  • If Doctors are arrogant then its because of the system. They don't have to look their patients in the eye anymore and say here's what I'm charging you because of the destruction of the Doctor-patient relationship so they just charge the maximum they can get out of the insurance company. That leads to rising health-care costs and lower wages when the employers has to foot the bill.

  • The role of the pharm cos is probably the most important cause of rising health care costs.

Nexium® is simply warmed-over Prilosec®, with almost no R&D costs. Yet, retail, it costs $5.30 per 20mg pill. Do the math: 26½¢ per mg = $265/g = $265,000/kg. That's 13 TIMES the price of GOLD! Over SEVEN TIMES the price of PLATINUM! More expensive by weight than any illegal drug on the black market!

  • Government involvement in education has made it a joke across the board. College degrees don't mean much when EVERYONE HAS ONE... and costs skyrocket for EVERYONE ELSE. If you achieved in the past you could qualify for financial aid because the College wanted you. Now it means nothing.

  • very inconsiderate of economics of supply and demand in every single case that you mention. Wherever a program is slashed, money stays in the pockets of People and Businesses (allowing for more hiring).

Every single point misses "supply and demand" and "efficiency".... Government is a Monopoly!

  • Correct. Survival of the fittest IS the rule of this universe. Except humans aren't commodities; at least my conscience rails against that idea. If those who are less fortunate -- autistic, mentally disadvantaged, born to terrible family, country, etc. -- are left to fend for themselves, without the programs you mention, then apparently you will be pleased when they perish, as they must not be "People," by your definition. "Are there no workhouses?"

  • College pricing goes up because people get ridiculous grants from the government. What sucks is people like me (middle/low income white male) don't qualify for these grants and have to pay $40,000+ for college out of pocket. If there weren't grants, college would cost way less because they need to offer some insentives to get student; they are a business that needs customers after all. Colleges would actually be competitive for a change.

  • Use your ability to make good video production for good not the un-good!

  • Hey idiot! if the federal income tax was eliminated....you would not need to take out a government STUDENT loan...BECAUSE YOU WOULD KEEP 25% OF YOUR PAYCHECK AN BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT! Everyone thinks that because you are a citizn of the US, your gifts should be, free healthcare, education, home, and a great paying job.....WRONG, those are privileges, not birthrights.

  • Absolutely. S-A-N-E people don't need the government taking their money and then pretending to "give it back to them" in the form of conditional loans.

  • 4) Nice video

  • 3) Guns on airplanes.

Ofcourse airlines should be able to decide if passengers have guns or not, the airline is responsible for keeping you afloat in the air, why the hell cant it handle the security as well?

Had 20 passenger on each plane had guns on 9/11, the Twin Towers would still be up.

  • Wow, that's a sobering thought!

BTW, in states that allow citizens to have conceal carry gun permits [48/50 states], there hasn't been a rash of violence on our freeways in cars. What evidence do we have that Americans couldn't be responsible with guns elsewhere in transportation if permitted through proper channels?

  • 2) With medicare gone, less corruption, americans will buy ther medicine from overseas at a lower price until the price goes down at home. Or your state can set up its own medicare. Federal programs are a corrupt disaster.

  • 1) Federal loan program is a joke, your state is supposed to offer its poor loans if your states voters want.

  • Do your research, and your questions will be answered honestly, consisely, and with our constitution in mind. i.e. google Ron Pual Health Care, Ron Paul Education, ect...

"First they will ignore you, then they will laugh at you, then they will fight you, then you win."

  • WTF?

  • Ron Paul stand is to give states the power. Basically the federal government would be run how it was intended. Minimally. Prices on medical would drop dramatically and so would the cost of school. Lobbyists would take a back seat the individual would be in control. The dollar would increase in value and our debt would be paid. Even if you dont agree on all his points the fact that our counrty needs DRAMATIC change is obvious.

  • States' rights...not such a good idea -- unless you like the racism that brought us the Civil War and Jim Crow. It's better to elevate the bar with national educational standards, leveling the playing field. With the Dept of Ed and programs like Medicare gone, as you suggest, only the rich would get richer. We need dramatic change from Bush, it's true, but a swing further to the right is the wrong direction.

  • There is no such thing as States' Rights. But no such thing as Federal Government Rights either. ALL PERSONS but ONLY PERSONS have Rights. NO Government nor any other entity can have Rights. See the explicit wording of the Declaration and the Ninth and Tenth Amendments.
