  • I picked up the hi and lo pressure filter for 85 dollars on G1 parts last month. Thanks for the video brians. It saved me some dineros for sure!

  • is cng still ridiculously low in UT?

  • @landlockedviking Yes, AND there's like $5K in rebates if you buy/register one. AND you can drive in the "My own private Idaho" lane on the highway.

  • @briansmobile1 I wasn't aware of that! craziness :)

  • Where can I buy the filter?

Also what about the low pressure fuel filter?

I've never heard about there being two filters until your video.

    Thanks :)

  • @sellyourgift The filters are available from the dealer only pretty much now. Many CNG cars have two. This one only has one filter. The dealer wants about $35 for these filters now. I bought the filter in this vid for like $5. Now they aren't available any more.

  • @briansmobile1 ok. so my 2000 Civic GX only has one filter total? No low pressure filter and high pressure filter? where did you purchase the one for $5? I found one on ebay for $35. Thanks

  • @sellyourgift You used to be able to buy them online in bulk. A local guy has a stock pile and I bought them from him at cost.

  • @briansmobile1 Gotcha. Let me know if he has anymore lol.

  • Hey im hindu what u talking about my gods lol.

  • @hp11208 Just saying they're handy... and awesome. lol

  • @briansmobile1 I know what you mean i got you..

  • So if you use up all the gas at home, how to you fuel it up?

  • @pannysat You can buy a home compressor and fill up at home (several thousand dollars) OR you can call a tow truck to the station.

  • @briansmobile1 so you need a home compressor to change your filter since you need to use all the gas up?

  • @pannysat No. Just turn off the valve and then start your engine and let it run out of gas.

  • This looks completely different from the earlier civic vids that i saw.

all their fuel filters were under the hood near the firewall.

  • @tunerkid2006 Dedicated Compressed Natural Gas vehicle (CNG) - different fuel system completely.

  • @briansmobile1 Yes, that is kinda what I thought. that would go against your answer for nguyenempire, because I also have the same gen civic except it's not the cng model.

  • @NguyenEmpir3 I'm so busted. I was too quick to answer on that one. I've been super tired and shy on time lately. Sorry NguyenEmpire. An LX is a gas model and it WILL be different.

  • I got a 2005 Civic LX... will it be the same process?

  • @NguyenEmpir3 Likely so.

  • Great vid, thanks for the how to! AIthough think you have it backwards, the high pressure filter should be replaced every 30k miles. The low pressure filter should be every 10k.

  • @Shared1234567 I've heard it both ways. I may be wrong the way I posted it.

  • Thanks for the tip; Where can you get this filter? Did you get it at Honda or Autozone? Do you or anyone else have the part number?

    Thanks again!

  • @reneholliday I don't have it. The vehicle owner got it online for $5.

  • I finally found it at bernardiparts online

    Part number: 16905-S1G-003 ($21 bucks)

    Thanks again.

  • @reneholliday Cool. Thanks for pitch'n in info. I know Rockauto dott com has many of the injectors for them.

  • Job well done. I have always changed my own oil and now with this car due it's 1B oil service Honda want $389.00 to change the oil and service the fuel system. I think you just save me at leat $200.

    Thank for sharing

  • @jcidelgado2007 I'm so glad you liked it!

  • I have a 2009 civic gx. This video and a $22 filter. I did It in a half hour no problems. Thanks. Could you make a video on the low pressure filter. I am coming up on 30K miles mark and I hope it this simple also.

  • @glasairn Way to go!- Love hearing success stories. I know how many views I get, but the comments help me get an idea of how helpful I'm being. It's like a Karma barometer. I'll see what I can do on a low pres filter.

  • thanks for making this video man, it helps me alot... but i was wondering is it the same with normal petrol version?

  • @1980guile9 No. Not at all. This filter is where the gas tank goes on a normal petrol car.

  • GREAT VIDEO AMIGO
