@spacepatrolman - Yes, that is true...yet you should be aware that some of those signature "Outer Limits" themes also appear in "Stoney Burke", which was [also] a Daystar production, and preceeded The Outer Limits [Let me also add that Frontiere was great at re-orchestrating & reworking his own music]. Sadly, "Stoney Burke" only lasted one season...but it yielded alot of great music that was used in The Fugitive's final season...
@MikeNichols50 the invaders had freaky dayglo colors and freaky atonal music by frontiere was it science fiction or just another running man show like the fugitive
@spacepatrolman - That is a good question...In my opinion, "The Invaders" was a little of both:
David Vincent consistently 'took the fight' [so to speak] to the aliens in The Invaders, but in the process he placed a 'target on his back' because they knew exactly 'who he was', i.e. a threat to their mission to make the Earth "THEIR world"...
I think Frontiere got too busy doing music for other shows @ around the same time, so he could not do the music 4 The Invaders 2nd season...2 bad...
These were so good.
