  • it's so dense every single image has so many things going on...

  • wow thats cool

  • thanks for the video

  • Stunning

  • @ProjectDecade There is no evidence that the universe is older than 6000 years old, that's just a theory. To believe that the universe is really really old is the same as believing in God. By the way, don't judge by default, respect to be respected.

  • @solarsoul2012

There is no evidence that there are religious deities or whatever crap people make up these days. It's just a theory as well. We do have more evidence to show that the universe may have existed over 6,000 years ago, and I would rather believe in that rather than God who magically snaps his fingers and POOF; the universe appeared...

  • @ProjectDecade Islam says there was a time before even 'Man' was mentioned. Jinns lived millions of years prior to mankind. Only fake propaganda or laziness can bring up such conclusions.

I wish you do more research on Islam (by yourself not listening to haters).

    Much Love!

  • oops i juzt farted

  • Scrap metal + acrylic + LED's + liquid silicon + air compressor + ball bearings + a few other items = THIS !! watch?v=zoOrF4slJLY

  • "The way to see by faith, is to shut the eye of reason" -Benjamin Franklin

  • God says that He is not willing that any should perish, so all people have the same chance as anyone else to be saved.

It's just once we believe, then we know that He has chosen us from even before the world was created.

Remember! , we are in time and He is not.

So what we think is our choice( to believe),is in time, but in reality He chose us outside of time. So the decisions have been made allready before we even existed.

It is not unjust because He's the creater, He makes the choices!

  • Wow

  • It is possible that God created the Universe in mid- time , just as he created Adam and Eve as adults instead of children, and a chicken instead of the egg.

Could be he created Earth first, and then the Universe afterwards, in order for the un- believers to doubt his existence.

  • @borg386 Could it not also be possible that Evolution and the big bang are correct, perhaps spurred on by a creator? We know that humans didn't "poof" into existence, though if my memory serves me the bible never addresses HOW humans were created anyway. I fail to see how we should adhere to claims that are demonstrably untrue, such as the earth is 6000 years old, or humans haven't evolved in any way.

  • @MetastasisVideos

or mabye He created the whole Universe in an instant, simutanesly with the creation of the earth.

Imagine throwing a can of paint at a wall, and splattering a pattern across the wall, instantly creating a design.

The time it took for the paint to splatter into a design, was a split second to the one who threw the paint.

But imagine the splatter being our universe, that split second would be forever.

Funny thing though, we can look at it , but we can't reach it.

  • @borg386 We can prove that these things took place over billions of years. Now if you want to argue what "time" is to God, then I'm afriad neither of us will be able to be correct.Unless you claim to have some sort of proven measurement of Time to a divine figure, both of our opinions will have to stay opinion.

  • @MetastasisVideos

anything I ever say is only opinion. only a fool would claim knowledge of God that can't be proven.

Beliefs and facts are two different things.

My opinion is that God, in order to confound those who are not chosen to believe, created the universe in a way that time itself would proove the universe to be billions of years old, and this is proven by mans science.

But the wisdom of man is foolishness to God because He knows that He created it himself instantly.

    only opinion

  • @borg386 "...My opinion is that God, in order to confound those who are not chosen to believe..."

So you're saying then that God predetermined who would believe and who wouldn't? That doesn't seem contradictory to you? How could a God be just and loving, but pre-package somebody as hellbound? How could creating somebody intending for them to go to hell be just and/or loving?

  • @MetastasisVideos

that would seem to be the case, because our earth is only a smidgen of time compared to eternity.

God is not constrained to time or governed by it, so as far as He is concerned His "project earth" is complete and finished.

But as far as we are concerned, our earth has been and may likely continue for many more years.

He is not being unjust because all those whom He chose to believe will believe, and all those whom He don't want to believe, He will blind them. His choice.

  • @Chaosdragonite That is completely contradictory. To be just and love, but then also create somebody just to eventually suffer in hell. Is God just and loving, or is God not? If God is truly just and loving then there would be no "chosen" to believe and not believe. And it is this contradictory nature that makes the modern church a laughable organization. I refuse to believe that if we are created, it would potentially be just to later be damned. Surely you must see the stupidity in that claim.

  • @MetastasisVideos

Hello again, sorry I used a different name by mistake, please address comments to borg386.

There is no unrightousess with God.

He told Moses that He will mercy on whom He would have mercy, and compassion on whom He would have compassion.

Shall the thing formed say to Him thay formed it , why has thou made me like this.

Hath not the potter power over the clay?

you are not damned if if believe in Him! after we believe, then we know we are chosen.

    Pretty simple really.

  • @borg386 Not simple at all really. You are apparently misinterpreting what you just quoted.

  • @MetastasisVideos

I'm done here! thanks for the conversation. God bless!

  • This is really stunning, and so beautiful but it also gives me shivers knowing THAT is a small fraction of what is OUT THERE.

  • Great video.

Can you tell me where i can find this picture online please?

  • Thankyou for your effort with this channel..good for you..continue to explore the world and civilisations a wonderful adventure..peace to you x

  • i love the tuck-in shirt

  • @ProjectDecade You have only God to thank (j/k)!!!!

  • @ProjectDecade no where in the Bible does is it every say he took every species. I thought maybe you could see the irony in my post but apparently not. If someone went based upon SPECIES, then to quote Roy Scheider, "You're gonna need a bigger boat." The word "species" is not even found in the Bible. Furthermore, you'll find that "Species" includes many variations. Black bear, polar bear, etc. Most species have common ancestors. But I'm sure you know this, you intelligence is clearly evident...

  • @ProjectDecade Again you continue to spot out what YOU believe a creationist is. While I don't doubt that many are as misguided as you are in understanding creationists, you should still at least feign intelligence when discussing something you know nothing about. You cannot prove the universe came to be with or without order. Since you don't want to actually LEARN anything about creationists (by maybe doing 10secs worth of searches on the internet) I'll end with my next comment (on Noah's ark.)

  • @ProjectDecade You're really showing off your ignorance here. Does any scientist on this entire planet have a reason for any of those things? Nope. If you actually knew anything about creationists (which so far I can tell is very little) then you'd already know the reason for creating mankind and all the other "shit" we don't "care about." No one can provide proof on if there is or isn't a creator. I simply find it more believable that there's an order to things then everything "just happened."

  • @ProjectDecade Um, not ALL creationists believe that. Again, if you knew much about them....

  • @ProjectDecade if you knewn anything about what creationists believe you'd realize that 99% of this video they'd have no problem with... close minded much?

  • i dont understand, we see filamentary currents electric discharges and ionized plasma in these pictures and we use our preconception to interpret what we se as heated gas glowing from nuclear furnaces. we see formation of quasar galaxies as super nova explosions. we se young stars like dwarfs as old dead remnants. we deem each particle or mass in the univese as independent closed systems. we accept gravity as a property of mass when its a standing wave at any scale. are we blind?

  • This is absolutely incredible.. I've wanted to study astronomy since I was 8 and now I'm a student at UCLA. I was an Astrophysics major but got placed in the wrong classes so I had to switch my major in order to have any hope of graduating with a 3.0+ gpa. I feel like I've made a huge mistake and I'm just throwing all of my dreams away by making this decision...

  • as wonderful and amazing as the universe is...God is greater! That's why I believe the universe glorifys God. I'm amazed by the uniiverse but it makes me want to meet the God who created it! WOW!! I wonder how wonderful he is?

  • @pmsou F*ck off creationist twats. This page is for realists, not deluded brainwashed idiots.

  • @MusicStudyMan I am a realist. I think you are deluded. I think you are brainwashed. No God, no consequences...no accountability..."do what thou wilt". It doesn't work that way. This all powerful God is going to one day judge us and we will tremble in fear.

  • @pmsou sorry - you talk bollocks. I'm accountable to myself and my fellow humans. Your beliefs belittle the beauty of the universe.

  • @pmsou Also, seriously - what makes you think there are no consequences in your life without God? Are you saying you only stop yourself from being bad by raping, murdering, assaulting, stealing etc... just because of God???? WOW - that is immoral!!!

  • @MusicStudyMan why were the ten commandments taken down from schools and courthouses? Every religion could agree with them. "thou shalt not steal" "thou shalt not kill" "thou shalt not lie"...The offensive one was "thou shalt have no other gods before me". The ten commandments make people feel bad. People hate them. Instead of going to the cross, they want to get rid of the guilt by hiding the ten commandments. YOu know the saying "out of sight, out of mind". God is still HOLY.

  • @MusicStudyMan I sense a holy war coming on. This is what the bible says and it's 1 million percent the truth. That's why.."no man is righteous, no NOT ONE."

  • @pmsou Firstly, there's no such thing as 1 million per hundred when 100 is an absolute result. i.e 0% = False / 100% = True. You can't be more true than true. Secondly, The Bible, also says that the King of Jeruselem died aged 40 and immedietly his son takes over aged 42!!! Also that the moon has his own light, Doh! And implies (see Ark myth) that it's possible to fit 2 each of 10 billion species onto boat you couldn't half that many rats into..mmm...I know what I sense...RELIGION FAIL

  • @MusicStudyMan Just for my own clarification purposes I'd like you to answer a few questions. What king do you speak of and what son was this? Where does it say the moon has it's own light? I certainly hope it's not the one I'm thinking of in Isaiah. It is very often misquoted out of context. Where does it say that all species (thought it was animals?) existing today back during Noah's days? (BTW, there's only 1,740,330 million species known today so you can imagine how few then.) Clarify please

  • @L0zz0 You win. I just don't have time to construct a good enough argument. I sincerely hope you enjoy heaven when you get there. I'm sorry to have started something I don't have time to finish.

  • @MusicStudyMan Win? I wanted to further my knowledge on what you thought, so I guess that wont happen. Shame.

  • @pmsou how do you know he is going to judge us one day? because it was written in a book almost 2000 years ago by a bunch of people who didnt know any better and passed on through generations, with who knows how many edits to suit the church at the time.

    good luck with that

  • @ASBOMAN this is my faith. this is what i believe. I'm not apologizing for it because it is the truth. I know we live in a world where everyone is afraid of ABSOLUTES but this is absolutely the truth. I would be a liar if I didn't tell you this. God would one day ask me why I didn't tell you this. Christians are amazed by the universe too but for different reasons. I see the Creator when I look at it..you see cosmic coincidence.lol

  • @pmsou well, i consider myself agnostic, i don't completley doubt the existence of a supreme being. I just don't believe in the ones from organised religions. Or that i'll be judged for every mistake i might have made in my life.

If it is your faith though i'll respect it, so long as you respect my position

  • @ASBOMAN thank you. You were nice about it.

  • I'm not a geocentrists..I believe GOD is the center of the universe. He's actually the force outside the universe that started the ball rolling so to speak. I'm very fundamental in some aspects and very open minded in other areas. Life on other planets? yes. God is a "creator" so why would he stop with us? macroevolution? don't think so..but MICROEVOLUTION? yes, of course. is the earth 6000 years old? NO. rofl. I believe in a preadamic earth..humans that came from adam and eve ARE6000yrsold

  • @pmsou a few questions to a confused observer. 1. u believe in Microevolution but not Macroevolution? LOL how so. U realize that a lot of little Microevolution leads to a Macroevolution in a species? without one the other cannot exist! 2. Did u say u believe we as humans came from A nd E around 6000 yrs? 4. If u believe in life in other planets do u still think we r gods chosen beings. also aliens in heaven? 5 if the bible is flawed in most respects why take it for the word of god?

  • @bravojonny73 macroevolution is completely subjective..just because "someone" says "okay, TOO MANY DIFFERENCES its a brand NEW SPECIES" does not make it true. It probably 1. was already a different species or 2. in the same species. Who is that SOMEONE anyway? There is no proof of macroevolution. I believe in variations within a species. I believe the bible..I believe that we have a beginning. I believe in a preadamic earth which is pretty self explanitory. lol It's impossible to answer 4

  • @bravojonny73 I obviously do not believe the bible is flawed.

  • @ProjectDecade wow. This "stuff" is amazing..that's why I believe it has a creator. The heavens glorify God.

  • @pmsou It's too bad that religious leaders don't glorify the universe.

  • This makes me wanna live forever,to discover the WHOLE universe.

  • @ProjectDecade

by chance, by mistake and for bad luck for Earth and our co-tenants ( eaten or destroyed by us, " Sapiens without Wisdom "

  • oh my Dog!

  • @ProjectDecade

So you're saying - no God / Creator - just coincidence?

    (I'm not talking about religion)

  • @ProjectDecade You betcha man! I'm glad I'm a free thinking guy!

  • WOW ! An awsome picture better and than any human artist could have ! Amazing to see such a large view of our Milky Way ! Seeing the evolution of the different stars is so amazing !!

  • There was an online viewer some time ago on the spitzer website, but i can't find it anymore - does anybody know if an online viewer still exists and if so what the URL is?

  • @smarthandsomeguy Found it:

  • went on the science channel/spitzer web sites i couldnt find this image anywhere for dwn load. can someone provide a link pls.

  • And all the Creatrionist fucktard crooks and stupid rubes out there scream "IS NOT!" Like Sarah Palin, Christine O'Donnel, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, and just about every other Republican Christian moron in the world.

  • Thanks Robert Hurt. It was a good video

  • why do I see the Chevrolet bowtie in the middle of the universe picture at 2:32 and 4:50?

  • @Olemguy you, my friend, are talking about Mass Effect. Am I correct? :)

  • @Cptfady What else? :3

  • This is so fake. The universe does not exist......

  • It would be such a sad thing if some non-troll would dislike this clip.

  • phenomenal. we are so insignificant in this vast universe.

  • Amazing some write this off as a worthless sea that some sky daddy made for their enjoyment. Sad, really.

  • @BtheAtheist How can you worry about the universe when humanity can't even deal with their own problems here on earth?

  • thanks for info!

  • @HornetFellow yeah, I can't believe the rubbish that's on top of the most viewed list.

  • space porn

  • SCIENCE RULES!

  • @bigusdikus0

moron...all of your sockpuppet accounts are blocked by me. And you blocked me. We can't PM each other, idiot. damn... you are so dumb.

Your closet homossexuality is of no surprise to no one.

Try learn something about science, you dumb creationist.

  • @EternalSkeptic8

your random empty accusations are astonishing....

i sense fear in your words, little troll.

  • PodriaN Alguien Ponerles Subtitulos en español???

  • I believe God made all the stuff in this photo. i applaud the scientists for taking the photos and finding out about how the universe works. I think the holy books are amazing. I think science is amazing. I don't feel conflicted about this. What am I doing wrong? Plz help.

  • @JustAskTokes You doing all wrong... start again.

    :-)

  • @JustAskTokes What's your evidence that god made all this? The Bible? Because if you believe the Bible, you also have to believe that "god" created light and shadow BEFORE he created the sun and stars. You also have to believe in the talking snake, Noah's big magic boat with all the mountains of Earth underweater, the breathing-air-containing fish that "swallowed" Jonah, Joshua stopping the Earth on its axis, Jesus walking on water, etc. etc. etc. You can't reconcile the two.

  • @jdh501

I have no evidence that God made all this. I , like you, see the "creationists", for the roflcopters they are. Yet I do believe that God created it all. I have a relationship with this God. To me, God is the operating system and frames of thought, like organized religions or even secular theologies are like the GUI. I don't get caught up in the user interface. God interfaces with people in a myriad of ways. Not everything can be tested empirically.

  • @JustAskTokes Fair enough. Good answer. Thanks for responding.

  • @JustAskTokes You can't test something that never existed

  • @frostzor

Yeah, you're right. I can't say anything compelling about the possibility of the existence of God. I believe that for some reason, God wants there to be a leap of faith involved in believing. I fully realize how insane that sounds to any clear thinking "non believer". But there's worse kinds of insanity lol.

  • @JustAskTokes Haha, yes there's worse insanity indeed. Good to see some clear thinking believers:) But yet in your comment you mention: ''God wants..''

For as far as im concerned the only thing happened is that a view people WROTE that God wants something. Therefor it is insane to me. But no offence, we are free to think what we want:) Bless us for that;)

  • Okay. I want to explore it now? Where do I find the whole picture?

Or the "one of several web viewers"?

    I WANT TO SEE!!!!!!!

  • That's going in my bedroom.

  • Where can I get "You can download the whole thing in segments, or use one of several web viewers that let you pan and zoom through the image interactively"?

  • This is insane.

  • Keep up the great work on the space videos. They are amazing and are a constant reminder on just how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things.

  • this is stunningly beautiful

  • The milky way is such a lame name for our galaxy, they could have called it something more poetic or creative, rather than naming after what comes out of a cows udders

  • @ihatelumberjacks Well, the Milky Way was named after a Goddess breasts, so really... get your info straight as to whom named it and when.

  • @truvelocity I was making a joke, couldn't your empty milk bottle personality understand that?... Why don't you get YOUR facts straight before you start accusing people of things...Dick..And regardless, I STILL think it is a shit name for our galaxy

  • @ihatelumberjacks Waaaah, waaaaah, I want my ba ba!

  • @truvelocity I am impressed with your highly articulate and advanced insult. Thank you for showing everyone your mental age

  • @ihatelumberjacks Oh dear.

  • they should copyright the image HAHAH lol jk.

  • 1:51 thats what our galaxy looks like? how did they find that out? did they calculate the distance between a number of stars and our solar system and in that way measure the size of the galaxy and our position in it?

  • @c0l4p4rty They don't know how the galaxy looks like since you can't observe it from outside because it is impossible. But they can estimate how it looks like by comparing similar galaxies with our own and creating a visual representation of our galaxy.

  • WOW!

  • 5 stars

  • @qotsaandsoadfan1 there are millions of stars. in case you were referring to youtube system they changed it to like/dislike buttons, click the like one pls :)

  • 0 dislikes so far!!
