  • I listened to this song at least a thousand times in my room,at the age of 13....I was in love with an older man...18..LOL!

  • Love it!!!!! Thx for bring me back some Awesome Memories!!!!!!!

  • Be still my heart, I am twelve years old again... The Osmonds are the greatest! Very talented family with a true sense of love for all mankind. Nothing bad to say about the Osmond family. They are a testimony to the love you will find in Utah!

  • I always cry whenever I hear this song.

  • I used to dream about Donny every night and was so disappointed when he got married and then the dreams stopped and my heart broke back then....1970's I LOVED THEM!!!

  • I was madly inlove with Donny Osmond back then. Still, today I see him on tv appearances and I get the goose bumps. He's just adorable!

  • I love you Donny!!!!!

  • OMG

  • so sweet... i still can't believe donny didn't marry me!

  • my crush was with donny back in the day..

  • first i tougth it was m.j. great voice. ther were good friends. love donny

  • Dedicated to Wayanne Kruger! ..... Sure is funny how Donny Osmond tryed dressing like the King! :)

  • why is it, when i listen to this guy...i can hear my big sister singing it...lol...she loves him....i remember him all over her wall..when i was only 5!!...im 39 now....

  • Little Donny was darling.

  • God I love this song - what memories of sitting in my room listening to this on my little tape recorder, daydreaming of Donny coming to take me away to get married....

  • After hearing so much of the J5 and MJ since his passing I decided to check out my first crush - Donny. Donny and his brothers rocked. I love MJ, but Donny was an awesome talent. Maybe he didn't go the same route as Michael, but ultimately I think we should be glad for that.

  • Classic Donny. He and Michael Jackson were both excellent pre-teen singers!

  • "Electronic changes" probably have happened many times. For a studio recording, it seems to be readily accepted in most cases. When singing live, however, one should be "honest" with the audience. Otherwise, al lip-sync performance can backfire with very silly results.

  • What jack-bite gave me this stupid -1 point?

  • @sandinyourshoes What's a jack-bite?

  • @nauort23, it is someone who bites a jack.

  • ok...

  • Yes... Okay.

  • sandinyoursshoes a little word ok alot of pop singers and groups today do need alot of tweeting done to make them sound fake but donny never needed any of thoses things done he could sing live in the studio and in concert in the same tone in fact today he still sings fantastic and always live can't be bad still goin stronge after all theses years just think alot of singers have come and gone he is still around i guess real talent last its just a shame singers today don't sing live ha ha

  • The other problem is that so many newer singers have generic voices. They also just have no real interest in doing more than two or three albums and then calling it quits. Real musicians, like McCartney and Sting, stay around for "the long haul." Donny is impressive considering he began as a child.

  • sandinyourshoes just a litt note don still very huge here in england he can still sell out big areanas like wembly and alot more and can play every intruments goin and the osmond bros are in the same league as the beatles take there 3 albums 1 the plan 2 crazy horses 3 phase 3 all the songs were arrang and wrote by the group nfact mCartney bort the plan at the time and said fantastic the osmonds have been in the buss now 50 years

  • I think the fans just know that Donny and his siblings truly have singing talent and are not afraid to be themselves. These fellows and their sister did not have to depend on gimmicks or scandals to achieve longevity.

  • This WAS my first 45 when I got my Close n Play for Christmas,

  • he's like the original Justin BeeberXD

  • only he sings better

  • 10,000 more listens!!

    Thank!!

    Steve

  • And, Susan Boyle has a crush on Donny. Did you hear Donny say what happened backstage? They sat and sang his old hits together. There was a vid on here of Donny inviting Susan to join him in Vegas.

  • They would make a great team every time.

  • AT 49, this song still makes me smile!

  • Donny will always have that Youthful Endearing Quality That Makes us feel like were young again.

  • great--Donny has always been sweet. I don't remember this song but remember watching Donny & Marie and had the dolls. Love him on DWTS!

  • 10,000 more listens!!

    I guess there's a few girls who aren't "Go(ing) Away"!! HA!!

    Thanks!!

  • Donny osmond, winner of the 2009 Dancing with the stars competition, I am surprised that he defied the odds and won! I congratulate him!

  • This song was in a stack of 45's my mom gave me in the late 70's. It was my favorite. I listened to it over and over again on my little red record player.

  • What a great song! I'd love to see the cartoon that he sang it on.

  • Uh he was 13 at the time? Not quite a music buff.

  • OMG this brings back so many memories !! I saw the Osmonds on 9/8/1972 (I'm looking at the ticket stubs right now) and it was my very first concert. I was 9 years old......I drank milk and only wore purple socks for years !!!

  • adam must be one great person to have the tastes you have :0 luv n hugs, Jenni

  • Oh my he sounds so young------------I remember when he released this as a single,I used to play it over and over again and drove my parents mad lol

  • I love this song! It is soo sweet! And his voice! *dreams* aahh xxx

  • You can See Elvis had a clear influence they way the Osmonds dress in Karate suits like the King.

  • In one interview i saw here in youtube Donny said that they had the same designer as Elvis Presley.

That's why their outfits look alike.

  • Thanks for sharing the vid, Steve. Nowadays, you don't have to have real talent to make it as a singer and people don't realize how big of a star Donny was unless you're of a certain age. What a talented performer Donny was!

  • Well, I'm only 24 and I think I have a good, eclectic taste in music and Donny is definitely part of that. Back then or now...it's all good!

  • I missed this one hitting 10,000 listens. Thanks to all those who have listened (one time or multiple)!!

    Thanks,

    Steve

  • Wow! Can't say he didn't hit those notes! He had a nice voice for a pre adolescent.

  • wow, what memories he is my age but yet he sounds so young singing this way backwhen,

  • What a great song. It brings back memories of when I was a kid. We need more songs like this.

  • Thank U

  • Know you didn'ttttt

  • this song is so cute! i love the songs he sang before he hit puberty!

  • Thanks for the song.

  • hi yolly this is for you.

  • He was my man, back in the day. All over my wall. DONNIE DONNIE

  • love it

  • Love Donny! What fun to listen to these old songs......had my room covered in posters of him! LOL!

  • Yes, this was Donny's voice before it changed. A regular little heart throb. Him and his brothers still put on a good show. I think there's a video of him and his brother on here singing this. The Osmond's, what can you say?

  • He was still a child and this was before the voice change.

  • I agree!

  • Go away!!

  • From Anna,

Hi Lilwalt, One of my favorite old songs by Donny.
