I know John 5 was a great guitarist but I think he's doing better now playing for Rob Zombie, since he seemed to get mistreated a lot by Marilyn Manson if you watch the backstage clip on God is in the TV where Manson throws stuff at him and if you watch Rock am Ring 2003 when Manson kicked him. Tim Skold was a great member in Manson's band but it was a lot better to have Twiggy return.

I didn't know anything about this guy 15 minutes ago. I am a huge fan of Manson as a collective artist (band mates are really just scenery in the grand scheme of his art).

I though that tim carried himself like a true professional. I'm not sure if the dude with the camera realized (probably because he was drunk), that him comments were so insulting. So when Marilyn get's a new guitarist or musician in the band i take his compliments as a mustard seed. He's serious at the time, but when they leave he can invent loads of things to say about them to make them sound like shit, and totally disreguard what he said about them at the time when they were in the band. Which was the time he talks about how great and wonderful these musicians are and were. When they are in his band, when they are not in his band, they are crap. According to him.

Loads of the new fans do not realize how much in put Scott had on Marilyn Manson in the beginning. He was the only other founder of the band other than Marilyn. It was Scott's and Marilyn's ideas that spawned the band off. If you read interviews dating back to 1996 Marilyn talks up Zim Zum and about how great he was. When he left Marilyn ran him down and talked up John5

I personally do not think there are harsh feelings inbetween the Marilyn Manson camp and Tim Skold. I think if Marilyn told Tim he wanted a heavy album that's what Tim would have gave him. I prefer Twiggy's writing as apposed to Tim's definitely with Marilyn, but Tim's not a bad writer nor a bad musician if he was he wouldn't be where he is today. It's quite the trend for Marilyn to bad mouth anyone who's no longer in the band, wether it be Scott (Daisy) Zim Zum, or Twiggy.

In almost all of his interviews after Twiggy left, Manson almost ALWAYS says something about Twiggy being his friend. "I just hope some day I get my friend back."

He obviously cares more for Twiggy than any other person in the band. I mean, Twigs been there for almost two decades.

Tim Skold is awesome, he's a good all around musician and very versatile.

I don't think it's Tim's fault that "Eat Me Drink Me" was the shittiest Marilyn Manson album produced. You cannot give someone literal crap to work with and ask them to turn it into a masterpiece. The album was good if you take it out of a Marilyn Manson context. If you compare it to the other Marilyn Manson albums it's shit. Sounds absolutely nothing like a MM record.

Tim Skold was the brains behind KMFDM/MDFMK and definitely deserves more credit than he is given, and from what I hear he had more to do with the album "Golden Age of Grotesque" than any of the other members, he also had his own solo career going making music under his name and still being quite successful
