The graphics I saw was wonderful, like WoW with better polygon count and hi-res textures. It's also very colourful and has unique creature designs. Also, it plays differently from GoW especially if you specialise in magic and stealth.

Love absolutely everything about this game so far and cant wait. Ticks every box for me, Skyrim is a masterpiece but combat gets repetitive and a bit lacking in emotion/fun, Fable series is a laugh and has varied (if faaaar too easy) combat and feels like a kids game. Kingdom of Amalur seems just right...

@tobiasbas What are you talking about? the shield is for blocking, hold L on xbox. I like the fact that the shield is a standalone item and can be quickly pulled out to defend even when using duel wielding daggers for example.

I played the demo for like 10 mins. Didn't like it. Camera angles suck. The volume settings are all wrong. The environment is louder than the voice actors. The menu for your items takes too long to look for something. The story didn't grasp me either. Oh well, I know other people out there will like it.

I personaly loved this game. Why do people say the graphics are bad? Thats what turned me on. It has a unique happy, bright feeling to it. The only thing i hate is how there is no first person view and no jumping. I love randomly jumping in rpgs and also if theres a 1 foot little hill you cant jump down.. Which is stupid and the exploring is very narrow. But gameplay wise. Yummy.

Let's just get something out of the way: I DID hate the beta/game. I hated the over-simplification and the lack of originality of the combat. I hated how the art style is a shitty ripoff of the Fable games. I hated how a game that's supposed to be a great fantasy only gives 4 different "species" to play as. I didn't lowball the game, if anything I was highballing it with my harsh critiques. Once again: I don't give a shit if no one cares about my opinion, even though you do.

Well I don't, mainly because you can't play that much with the skill trees and chances are high that it gets better and better. Todd MacFarlane is the lead artist for that game and that means a lot, but you probably don't know MacFarlane and the entire game is based on existing stories / novels, so yeah, if they have 4 species, the game has 4 species as well.

Also, the beta should - being a beta - should give me a good experience and a good idea as to what the combat is and will feel like. They wouldn't design a beta that gives a vague understanding of the game. As for Todd MacFarlane, you're right I have no idea who he is, but I looked him up and he seems to be a well-respected artist. I still think the game look like shit. And giving me the reason as to why they have 4 species doesn't solve my problem with them having 4 species.

It would be direspectful to the franchise to add new races just for the sake of the variety, since then it's not anymore about re-creating the universe for the game. Lord of the Ring games, Star Wars games also try to stick with the existing concept for the sake of the fans. I'm done with you, you're clearly bias'ed against it and not bringing in valid arguments.

Having a one button combat system makes me frown. I didn't like that fable did the same and it was press X. Kill all enemies. Repeat. Hopefully it will have more of a challenge
