In addition to the Edge, there's the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Clint Maedgen. Clint is best known as the leader of the New Orleans Bingo Show!, an absolutely dynamite group.
I was already a big U2 fan, but my admiration sky-rocketed after the Edge reached out to my city, New Orleans, after the hurricane.
FYI - The band is the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and the singer is the amazingly talented Clint Maegden; the creator of the local bands Bingo! and Liquidrone (find them on Myspace). Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be touring the East Coast soon and will be playing at Bonnaroo (With Clint and the Bingo! band folks joining them). Enjoy!
