You only think it's dumb because you don't speak Japanese. All the American networks waste just as much time but because it's English you aren't as bored.

@katakanadian I dont want to hear any talking before watching videos on here. Japanese commentators are NOTORIOUS fo talking during athletic perfomances, look at any Japanese footage of figure skating, track or whatever, they talk so much you cant even hear the music. English speaking commentators know to keep quiet when necessary

Of course she's gangly - look at her body! Some landings were awkward, otherwise I like her smooth movements.
