Exactly, it's not an amazing time when you compare the 6 second 2JZ's and 13B / 20B powered cars current running in the ANDRA Pro Turbo class.
The RB engine unfortunately can't match up to either, don't get me wrong I love the Skyline GT-R, owned a R32 GT-R for over 4 years and loved to drive it.
@TappedAs 13B's are running high 6's and 20B's mid 6's now.
Rotaries aren't gay, they are the only thing keeping Pro Turbo alive to compete with the 2JZ's.
Unfortunately the RB is a very expensive car to get into the 7's. First you need a good track, NZ represent all you want but you fellas have goat tracks for drag strips.
This car will be the fastest for quite a while, as more and more workshops move to 2JZ's and 20B's for drag racing in Pro Turbo and 28x9 Outlaw.

@LJStorm Skylines are RWD, and have an option called "Front Wheel Assist" which makes 60% Power to the rear, and 40% power to the front. So it's not technically awd

Exactly, it's not an amazing time when you compare the 6 second 2JZ's and 13B / 20B powered cars current running in the ANDRA Pro Turbo class.
The RB engine unfortunately can't match up to either, don't get me wrong I love the Skyline GT-R, owned a R32 GT-R for over 4 years and loved to drive it.

Rotaries aren't gay, they are the only thing keeping Pro Turbo alive to compete with the 2JZ's.
Unfortunately the RB is a very expensive car to get into the 7's. First you need a good track, NZ represent all you want but you fellas have goat tracks for drag strips.
This car will be the fastest for quite a while, as more and more workshops move to 2JZ's and 20B's for drag racing in Pro Turbo and 28x9 Outlaw.

thats irrelevant. you can put 4000 horse power into a fiat. You can basically do anything you wish if you have the money to spend on it. Ive seen a 1200 hp pickup truck with a diesel engine that runs less than 10 sec.

Yeah but the only problem that Heat Treatments are going to have is the fact that they basically need to re do the engine to run any decent times in the Humidity of NZ. Just like the Rayglass Celica that was brought from the USA...No decent times will be has untill the engine is COMPLETLY retunned...
And Only the engine is comming from the USA then chassis was fully built in NZ, and took over a year...
