In her defense, if she does not use remainder of the wax on anyone else than double dipping on the same client is completely fine. I found this video quite helpful and I would definately trust Oasis Spa.
Okay for all the people complaining about bacteria and so on .... what do bacteria need to live? Water! .... does wax contain water ... look it up.... it doesnt!
@Thaeru2113 True but Bacterial spores do not. Disinfection, bacteriology, sterilization etc. are a bit more complicated than most people think. Why take a chance in as a professional?
@contemporatango Here is a really cute device for long term epilation of unwanted hair. Its cheaper than spas or clicnic, and it does gives result. heres a link . bit.ly\tNxel5
everyone bitching about how she's doing it, you should probably understand some things. double dipping means when you litterally use it to apply to the areas of the skin, then put it back in. this is because of stray objects or hair getting in. the wax pot is heated hot enough that bacteria won't thrive on the metal.
OMG. Can't carry on watching this. I'm not a professional beauticians but common sense in a rule. Ok, in video num 5 you did double dip, vid num 5 and this you asked if it was ok and painless to a waxing model with no hair and now... you used the spatula and left it resting on TOP of the waxing pot to let the edges of your lovely wax warmer to get contaminated with the new bacteria of the newly wax applied area. I'm glad I have my bikini done at my beautician and not yours

Actually the wax needs to be a whole lot hotter than it gets in a wax pot to kill most bacteria. This is why double dipping is not good.
