  • Meditation has three purposes: 1) Enlightenment, a spiritual event. 2) Insight, a knowing. 3) Centering, an internal stability. Like awakening Enlightenment has stages; 1) a burst of light and energy; 2) a divine, non worldly experience of peace and 3) an ascension to nirvana, all 3 being spiritual events. Meditation is a practice leading to events.

The Buddha was a "ascetic" beggar when he became Enlightened, he surrender a kingdom for Enlightenment.

  • You're very present in this video. You seem to have a very pure soul. Thank you

  • that some people are not as mindful and aware because they are just trying to survive. but When I was coming back home from my stress filled and anxiety afternoon. I was just staring out and i found my stillness :) Ive been practicing meditation for a long time because I have limited contact with people and I live alone only time I do is when I work or i make time for special cool friends...so the isolation from others helps...

  • Today I reached a single focused stillness when I was on the cta today I was stressing because I was late for an all staff meeting at xsport and then I was dealing with everybody's projections on the cta and how miserable they really are but they see my energy and don't understand what to make of it so they see it as a threat...sorry i know that is mean I know (ill type more)

  • People need loving connection with others, self, and G-d. Life is all about Love, the rest is details. And thank you yes, being in the moment is essential. You're a light! G-d bless

  • Thank you for reminding me! Meditation really is the way to go! Espavo!

  • Thank you Thank you Thank you you just calmed me down. My family's visiting me and instead of staying in my inner peace i got pulled back to how we used to interact with each other(fear, anger, frustration..) THanks again! And..I know how hard it is to try to send out messages like this and people just respond with forms of rejection and ignorance or they are just too caught up in their hypnotized world to even listen to you. i feel so encouraged now cuz ur beautiful and loving video. THANK YOU!

  • Thank you Veronica. Thank you very much. <3

  • great video

  • u r so real i love it

  • I agree completely with you! I've recently learned about the power of daily meditation and it has quickly became a habit.

Between 14 hours of classes, workouts, and work, my life gets pretty busy. I've noticed that as long as I meditate each day along with working out, I am all good. lol. But the second I neglect to meditate I fall out of the flow/NOW and I quickly take a beating lol.

    Much love

  • I was just around nature for a week. As much as I appreciated the variety of environments, and being in something I'm not used too, when I tried to be still in nature, I was actually the most stressed I'd been in a while. I couldn't handle it at all. It seemed like being in nature was having the exact oposite effect on me that I've come to hear others say it has on them.

  • @TokenDrone Believe it or not, this is very normal. All of the old, repressed emotion that was never given the opportunity to liberate itself tends to come up in the stillness. This is why most distract themselves with so much doing/busy-ness. No one ever teaches us how to clean up our inner-space, so to speak. The good news is: Beneath the stress/discomfort, there is Deep Peace. Those feelings are just layers masking your *True Nature*. The inner-work is not always easy, but it surely pays off!

  • @LOVEronica22 Thank you so much, lovely Veronica! I'd be truly grateful :)

  • @Writersdesk I just posted a video called "any hope in meditating." There is so much to say on your comment, but this video is a start... :)

  • If you make it a point to meditate while having b movement on toilet you'll have meditation time everyday unless you are backed up.

  • Thank you Veronica, I totally love your videos :)

  • cool vid..thanks for sharing!! : )

  • {{{Thank You}}}

  • Nobody could have said it better!!!!

  • I wish I could hear a few tips about where I live. I live in a place where there is no nature, no clean air, clogged traffic everywhere, and people making unbelievable noise all the time, and no night (neon lights everywhere). How can I find more peace here? I have my great moments of meditation, but I often get frustrated by this environment.

  • @Writersdesk I'm in quite the similar situation where I am.

  • @Writersdesk I REALLY hear you on this. Thank you for this comment... I am inspired to make a video on it, as this is something so many of us can relate to. It is why I moved to the redwoods for 18 months. The city was too loud to hear the truth. Yet, there is another way... I will let yo know when it posts. In the meantime, do you have an inspiring space in your home or room that is set up for you to sit daily? Creating a devoted space tends to empower what you want (peace, stillness, etc)...

  • I'm 65, and if I meditate in the morning.. I'd go back to sleep... lol.. Actually my key to inner peace is getting my feet to touch the floor in the morning.

My inner peace is when I create a work of art and at the moment you realize you've just put something there in front of yourself that never was before. I agree though, a moment for yourself in the morning and evening is such great advise. Thank you for this wonderful video. I know I started the comment jokingly, bur what you say is right

  • @clayguy1 I am directing attention towards building pottery cabinets. Feeling this is the thing to do, now. Much, much pottery stored away in the dusty, cobweb-draped caverns of our minds; no light cast to illuminate their shining diamond value; like a wise and beautiful woman with no one's eyes to see or ears to hear. I want to allow people the opportunity to meditate on their treasure, energizing them to bring those precious creations up out of the cellar and into their daily lives. :)

  • @clayguy1 Beautiful!!! Moving meditations are just as powerful... ideally, we are walking through our lives bridging the level of consciousness that comes from meditation to our every day involvement. In yoga this is the concept of merging Shiva and Shakti, which is a form of embodied freedom! :) I am really appreciating everyone's input here!!! :)

  • Much love. Perhaps the 'other' one key ..is to realise that one is not the victim of experience, but that one simply *is* the experience..allowing one to fully and truly embrace the diversity of all perspectives and challenges...with relaxed neutrality, allowing one to shift gears up to excitement, joy and resistant-free passion. Here, one's head takes it's cue from the heart, in alignment of selves, through meditative motion, to play a stress-free, loving, integrative and appreciative part..

  • Gratitude, Veronica.!

Appreciating the mention of brothers/sisters sharing how they feel when they wake up in the morning! Early adulthood was the 1st time I had those feelings/sensations. And even though I'm 'a trained health care professional' I didn't recognize what was happening.

Stillness/Silence/Meditation: for me you point to 'truth.' I realized I was seeing the world in reverse some time ago. Now I'm solution-finding oriented. Thank you for the reminder re: this practice..<3<3

  • great message, I do breath meditation daily on the bus on the way to school. I've learned most of what I know through osho's teachings amazing man.

  • you are a beautiful being

  • I love you. :)

  • Someday I hope to meet.

  • Wow, I logged on today because I wanted to see if you had any guided meditation videos on your channel and then this popped up in my subscriptions. :) I really needed to hear this so thank you. I love all of your videos.

  • Very well said. I couldn't agree more. Thank you. For myself, meditation works quite well by just letting go of all thoughts, of all attachments, letting go of everything, and being only in the present moment. It's kind of like backwards diving off a cliff into nothingness. It's quite liberating. Also works quite well throughout the day and not just in a relaxed position. Just letting life flow naturally into and out of my experiential reality while focusing only on the present moment.

  • Thank for share your thoughtful advise, Ronica. I love you!!!
