what utter tripe - all of these bands along with that subway twaddle the likes of bubblegum splash, rosehips, flatmates etc etc should be relegated to the annals of never to be listeted to again history...and these have to be the worst of them all. I mean look at them!
@6106284 sounds like you have a really well-rounded appreciation for music. maybe one day you'll grow up and see the brilliance in a well-constructed pop song with gorgeous female vocals.
Actually, the Rosehips did a cover of "Ask Johnny Dee". It was released on a flexi along with a song by (I think) Fat Tulips. The Rosehips version is better :)
All I need know is "Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes". Oh, and the Rosehips' "Ask Johnny Dee". And the Wallflowers' "Blushing Girl, Nervous Smile". Oh, and "Jennifer Holiday".

One of the greatest songs on YouTube. This should have tens of thousands of views. At the time of writing this, there's 6,369. That's criminal!

I remember The Driscolls - we put them on at the Jericho Tavern in Oxford with a very young Ride.

This song is amazing, especially the vocals. Sweet 80s Brit pop.

And I just did what I have been too lazy to do for ages. Made my own "video" of the Rosehips version. There'll be no stopping me now.
