Kinderjoy packs are all just Cheating at a such high price. I cant believe that any company can cheat like this. The tiny plastics toys inside the balls are so cheap which is unbelieveable.......People should sue against this company for cheating.

I've been getting Kinder eggs since I was about 3! Maybe before! I remember my dad taking me to the shop a few nights a weeks and getting me a kinder egg. And, tbh, I was never bothered about the toy, I just wanted the chocolate because it's amazing! And here in England, we one have the small Kinder bars (but not every shop does them), Kinder Hippos and Kinder eggs (but only the kind with the foil cover, so the original kind). So, you have more that us!
Before there was Kinder Joy, there was Kinder Surprise all the year in Germany. at least. But since then, the toys in Kinder Surprise have become crappier too over time. When I was in kindergarten, they even had the odd 1.5" METAL miniature of ancient Egyptians, Romans, Greeks and so on. Now it's mostly just crap that spins around.
Um Im romanian and I have had seen these since I was around 3 now im 11 nothing really cheap about it to me I actually like these better the white chocalate tastes good sorry If I didnt spell it right Im only 11 :)
@avgurim Thanks and yes, it is. Love it, it's amazing at heating up the room during winter. Gotta be careful though, too much wood and it becomes unbearable during the night, you literally have to sleep with the window open, that's how warm it gets.

Now it's just single piece injection moulded plastic. Kinder - create a more expensive version for those who loved the old intricate products, even if you have to specify for ages 12+ there is still a market out there. You already market Kinder Bueno to an older audience, so why not go the whole hog.

@kurvos Thanks! They've re-appeared in Romania as well, in time for the Christmas shopping season. Some people are saying Kinder Joy is a summer product, and Kinder Surprise is a winter product, but I couldn't find Kinder Surprise in stores for two winters, so I think that for some reason, they pulled out of Romania for a while, then brought it back this year.
@raoulpop apparently kinderjoy was to replace kinder surprise eggs through the hot summer months because the thin chocolate was melting in some nations making the eggs unsellable. so the joy version was brought out with thicker chocolate and a spoon. but way crappier toys. lol

The reason why Surprise is no longer available is because politicians continually claims that putting non-food item within food may invoke choking hazard. I must agree that toys now are far cheaper than before, I would really want a car or something instead of miniature walkie-talkie.
Kinder SURPRISE ir the one with the follium wrapper and chocolate shell and egg "pill" in which there is a toy. They usually do not sell this une in summer.
Also, what u got is Kinder JOY - The Summer "Kinder Surprise" version. It's made because the one with the chocolate shell may melt in summer, since summer is a HOT season.

ok regarding Romania, you are right. Kinder Sorpresa has been substituted with Kinder Joy. In the other countries like france, italy, germany e.g. it is a summer product. but nevertheless for you this is less relevant since you live in Romania.
Just to give you a comment, but do you know why ferrero is selling Kinder Joy. Kinder Joy is the summer product of Kinder Surprise, meaning since it is of highest importance for Ferrero to garantee quality they have decided not to sell Kinder Surprise in the summer months since it will melt. As a substition they are offering an alternative namely Kinder Joy. Where they still provide chocolat and a toy but substainable to warm weather conditions.
@leoniegroot I don't know. All I know is that Kinder Joy is available year-round in Romania, not just in the summer months. I can't find Kinder Surprise any more.

Come on Kinder! I live in the UK and we have the real kinder eggs. A milk chocolate egg with a toy inside. What the hell is this crap! And also that chocolate was sort of disgusting! God damn I'm glad kinder havnt gone bad in this country!

@EmilyRose4evz no, if you come with me in my parents attic you will realize that they were not like that before, they were amazing. Each one was special and unic, and even if some of them were kind of "crappy" they use to work/asemble fine!

@kurvos Thanks! They've re-appeared in Romania as well, in time for the Christmas shopping season. Some people are saying Kinder Joy is a summer product, and Kinder Surprise is a winter product, but I couldn't find Kinder Surprise in stores for two winters, so I think that for some reason, they pulled out of Romania for a while, then brought it back this year.

@raoulpop apparently kinderjoy was to replace kinder surprise eggs through the hot summer months because the thin chocolate was melting in some nations making the eggs unsellable. so the joy version was brought out with thicker chocolate and a spoon. but way crappier toys. lol

Are you sure you're not thinking of Kinder Surprise?
Its egg shape, with milk chocolate on the outside, and white chocolate on the inside, and in the middle of it, theres a toy inside plastic casing. Seems to be what you were describing.

Kinder Joy and Kinder Surprise are two different things. The reason why Surprise is no longer available is because politicians continually claims that putting non-food item within food may invoke choking hazard. I must agree that toys now are far cheaper than before, I would really want a car or something instead of miniature walkie-talkie.

Kinder SURPRISE ir the one with the follium wrapper and chocolate shell and egg "pill" in which there is a toy. They usually do not sell this une in summer.
Also, what u got is Kinder JOY - The Summer "Kinder Surprise" version. It's made because the one with the chocolate shell may melt in summer, since summer is a HOT season.
This is just a little discription about stuff!

@Mlaw1997 same, well, I didn't go to cyprus but I'm really curious about these things...I've never even seen one until today :S you could probably buy them online tbh, they sell them on ebay for £7 (for a box of 5). It's a bit on the expensive side, considering that there are only 5 of them, but still, if youre craving it, youre craving it ;D

@raoulpop Im from argentina and I think the kinder egg is not longer available here. It's actually a pity.
The new kinder joy chocolate is really great, I think I like it even more (it also has dark chocolate). Anyway, you need a spoon to eat it, and that's lame for a kid!

ok regarding Romania, you are right. Kinder Sorpresa has been substituted with Kinder Joy. In the other countries like france, italy, germany e.g. it is a summer product. but nevertheless for you this is less relevant since you live in Romania.

Just to give you a comment, but do you know why ferrero is selling Kinder Joy. Kinder Joy is the summer product of Kinder Surprise, meaning since it is of highest importance for Ferrero to garantee quality they have decided not to sell Kinder Surprise in the summer months since it will melt. As a substition they are offering an alternative namely Kinder Joy. Where they still provide chocolat and a toy but substainable to warm weather conditions.
