Hounded from job to job by people who didn't hestitate to use his ideas for making hundreds of millions of dollars.
But he did something unexpected by them. He published a book, 'God Stopping A Nuclear War' with the link to his website.
Trinity was not only majorly fucking hot, but she kicked ass like it was a piece of cake. Absolutely fucking loved her! Plus, she was one of the only characters, next to Morpheus and Neo, who actually had more soul than anyone.

With a little moderation the movie could have been an almost epic tale (and a powerful anarchist/subversive parable as well); just a little less jumping and fancy explosions and much more talk and it would have been perfect; for the modern sense of the word of course, since today a divine poem like the Iliad cannot be composed anymore, as the epical and cultural basis is utterly lacking; so all art is bound to the boredom, poorness and cowardice of the modern world.
Normally I utterly despise these commercial American future flicks, but this one somewhat attracts me; though it is much darken by the misbegotten attempt to continue the story in spite of that it has been told already; so there can be no other parts: The two continuations seem to me as if someone had made sequel of Lord of the Rings after Frodo has thrown the One Ring back into the fires of mount doom already; this and to overload of computer acrobatics and animations ruined the movie.

Its similar to what they did to The Empire Strikes Back, they cut a scene where an asteroid crashes into a star destroyer and the reaction of the ships commander.

For story reasons, too make it interesting to watch they usually don't switch unless its absolutely necessary, also because they want to keep the matrix illusion hidden from the people who haven't been freed.
When I was 10 I watched this movie with my dad and became OBSESSED with it. I used to slick my hair back with gel the way Trinity does and I wanted to BE her so bad. Keanu Reeves was one of the great tween crushes that I ever had.
The architect said there were 6 matrixes. You'd think that they would solve the problem with The One by just making in a time period when payphones don't exist anymore.
When I saw this movie when I was like 9 i thought trinity was the hottest fucking thing I had ever seen. I believe I had my first wet dream to trinity in all honesty, sorry if thats tmi.
I remember when I first saw her jumping across the street at 3.05 in the theater, thinking "Holy crap. That's not possible. This is not gonna be any ordinary movie."
That too, but before seeing The Matrix, we didn't know anything about the story. You think it's just a woman being chased by cops, nothing special. And then we saw all the nice tricks she can do - things that normal people cannot do - and we thought, Heyyy! This is gonna be special!
Now who among us who saw this movie in 1999, didn't think "What the hell?!" at moment 1:35 - 1:40. I know I did. And thus the "Trinity Kick" , as I like to call it was born.
But the agents don't take over people unless they have to. They get there expecting the cops to have listened but they didn't, therefore the cops get involved anyway, and there's no reason to change into a cop when one agent is already right behind her.
big mistake in the movie, agents arrive in a car...instead of taking over control of one or more cops like they do that in the entire movie..but the opening scene is an exclusion for no reason.
ok this is the opening scene, so the audience isn't supposed to know the truth about the matrix at the very beginning...from the position of the story teller it is correct not to give too much too early, but in the real matrix the agents would appear immidiately in the room with trinity by taking over the cops
i would have never have guessed this was a movie lol. jst saying wot i think is daft about this film. a guy already excplained it 2 me why they cant use a mobile phone though. but they must have deleted his comment.
All the agents are too worried about Morpheus to know that Neo and Trinity were breaking into the building, and didn't realize until they blew up the bottom of the lift.
People actually stood up and clapped in the theater when Trinity is lying on her back pointing the guns at the window she just dove through. First and last time I've ever seen that in a theater.
It will sound pretty stupid but i don't really know how it's called.There are some that resemble a little. Try Navras by Juno Reactor or search for The Matrix Title soundtrack.
