  • 16 qf5, re8, qh7, kf8, then ncd3 going for f5 looked really good...

  • Why not Qf5?

  • 29. Rf7 wins a piece.

  • It was 32 to 33 likes v dislikes and after I liked it was still 32 to 33...????

  • Please like this video if you got something out of it, or even better add it to your favourites. I am afraid our beampaki1 -> beampaki25 troll is at it again. Cheers, K

  • I think I will leave it another another year before joining a club. Let us know when you are playing at Wanstead house!

  • KC, I always take a walk before cheess club, every game, i dont know if it always helps but i enjoy the pre match walk a lot anyway.

  • I'm playing in a friendly OTB tournament at my local club tomorrow. It will be my first OTB "tournament" . . . preparing some lines in the English and Reti as white and the French and Benoni as black :).

  • good luck on your otb games!

  • I don't know, but as soon as e.g. the queen goes to h5 on move 15, is it an idea to protect that attacking piece against potential exchanges?

I mean, if you are planning the Qh5 attack, should there also be the follow up with h4, preventing moves like Qg5 from black?

  • Very entertaining.

  • Could you try using the ryder gambit in one of your blitz games please? I use it quite alot but I'm no where near as good as you so it would be good to see how well you use it :) thanks KC!

  • kasparov likes this c3 move ;-D

  • ah we will let him away with it this time ;)

  • love all kc uploads but these are special to me

  • Did you not miss mate on move 16....?

    Qf5 with Qh7 to follow?

  • @petitnekka No... Re8 and the king escapes - for hte moment anyway...

  • @petitnekka It's not a mate but it's still a good move and he should have played it.

He could have brought the knight later and ...Qg5 wouldn't have been a problem.

  • c3 was interesting I'm glad you played that.

  • c3 is a very standard move on the main line which provides a re-routing option for the awkward a3 knight, its easy to see why 9...Be7 is the main line, this ...Bb7 sure was a weak move allowing too much structural damage :).

  • First?
