Everytime ive clicked on this video wsa to listen to the song, not for the lyrics (i already knew the lyrics) so i just noticed: 1:40 it says "Veins displayed" but it's "ankles displayed" she even said (i think she said it on "interview with EA" on the 2nd disk of Opheliac) "I dare you to find another song that says the word 'ankles' and you will get a prize. . which is for me to stop being annoying . . okay..." Heh, gotta love emilie (and its true - not alot of songs say "ankles")

It seems to me like this is both kind of sarcastic and authentic... like the verses are putting down the "art" of suicide, and more speaks to people being over dramatic, or it being treated as somehow glamourous, while the chorus and the end are more authentic emotion...

EA is awesome and I am very glad Russia made me listen to her. Her songs are about more then love and drugs and alcohol, like most of the music I hear on the radio.
