  • Hey there! Have you tried intellectus 424 diet (google it)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • You're amazing!

  • I made this! I absolutely love it!!!

  • Great video, can't wait to make this. Also, in addition to being beautiful, you radiate a very natural and effortless air of positivity and health - so your very being is an endorsement for what you do. Awesome.

  • Sumac Family: If poison oak is attracted to you, the following food come from the same family, so avoid them! Do not eat mangoes, pistachios, and CASHEWS...even if they are your favorite...please...do not eat them anymore...you'll be sorry...like me if you don't listen!

  • The salt doesn't restructure water, what she is trying to say is that the mineral salt adds a small amount of certain electrolytes to the water, but not complete electrolytes because sea salt does not contain potassium or magnesium is significant quantities to the salt.

That cows licking salt so they drink more water to produce more milk just cracks me up.. so yeah, must explain why all the pregnant women's doctors say they should eat extra salt and drink lots of water to produce milk, NOT.

  • your skins is soooo pretty.

  • That intro is way too loud

  • awesome!

  • What I am wondering about is if I would happen to buy non-raw cashews (not roasted, though, but boiled in shell), would it be necessary to soak them? Are there enzyme inhibitors in kinda-sorta raw, but boiled-in-shell cashews?

  • Eatingperson: I think it means it alkalinizes the water. If you buy distilled water, it's dead. If you spritzed some raw lemon juice, it has electrolytes and the water becomes alive again. I would imagine that a quality, raw salt would also alkalinize the water, since sodium is alkaline, as are minerals like calcium and magnesium, which are in a raw salt...

  • The salt "restructures" the water? Explain please.

  • This video inspired me to make my own nut milk.

  • that mylk looks almost as yummy as you Ani! the ideal woman right there! thank you!

  • I just had a glass of this cashew milk, omg its so good, i cant wait to have it with a bowl of cereal tomorrow morning.

  • Ani, did you put the finished mylk in a nut bag, or do you just use it as it is?

    Amanda

  • Great volume, thank you. I can hear this very well.

  • It Wud be really nice if You cud teach us to make Us A Raw Icecream.

One which will taste sweet without any sugar in it.

    Thankx

  • Anii!

Do you actually exercise along with eating raw, or do you just.. eat raw food to stay in shape?

  • I love it natures way of fortifying our mylk is just add dates.

Have not tried making any kind of mylk yet. Probably because I have no idea what I would do with it besides drink it.

    Thanks for sharing Ani.

  • Awesome! Love your music selection!!

  • I adore your new production.....totally professional & gorgeous, just like you!

    xoxo...Penni

  • She is beautiful!

  • ani is so pretty and grounded!

i love her pretty pink top!

  • @starflower666 shucks, thanks for the sweet words.

  • niiice! i'm eager to try this!

  • Thanks Ani

  • Hi Ani,

    Great demo...BTW, no straining?

  • I think she doesn't strain it because cashews aren't as fibrous as say almonds. Hemp mylk also doesn't need to be strained

  • thanks for the feedback. whenever i've seen any kind of "milk" being made, its usually strained after the blending process. I will try to make some as ani did...looks like it tastes really good.

  • @Haitianbeauty36 i don't bother to strain because i really like my fiber. i like the body. you can strain, but it's an extra step. then use the fiber for dehydrated crackers or cookies to make them lighter.

  • hey ani! can't wait for your new book! is it similar to your first book?

  • @balleticgirl2311wp Ani's Raw Food Essentials is yes similar to Ani's Raw Food Kitchen, but bigger with over 250 recipes, and even easier. it's my first hard cover too. hope you'll enjoy it!!

  • Love the intro! You're videos are so helpful, thanks! You don't need to use a nut mylk bag to strain it? Also, is ok to use plain cashews, but not truly raw (as there are mandatory pasteurization laws now in the US). Thanks!

  • @guitarlovenjc you can use whatever nuts you prefer. do the best you can. i know the pasteurization silliness makes it challenging for us to find raw nuts, except maybe online and at some coops.

  • Ani, my understanding from growing the trees is that cashews are lightly blanched or roasted on the plantation almost immediately after being picked & separated from the cashew apple. The nut (and casing) contains an irritating toxic oil that is destroyed easily by heat. (many members of Anacardiaceae, like poison ivy, possess such oils).

I am wondering if "raw" applies to cashews, as they are also very perishable when uncooked, also only sprouting if left in their casing, in my experience.

  • The recipe is delicious, by the way. I tried it already. Really really good!

  • Wow - thanks for mentioning the pasteurization law. I will be even more careful in seeking out only organic nuts from now on, as all others are quite likely to have been pasteurized with Propylene oxide...some truly nasty stuff. While possible that the non-organic nuts may have been pasteurized with steam there is no labeling law so you never know...

  • Ani, I'm going to be in Phuket in about a month. I'd really like to sit in on one of your raw food cooking class. Where do you do them?

  • @voteforalan i'm back in LA now, but this workshop was shot in phuket at mom tri's villa royale. a wonderful resort! where do you live?

  • I've been living in South Korea teaching English for the last few years. I'll be near Chalong in Phuket at a Muay Thai camp in April.

  • @voteforalan south korea? it must be cold there right now...brrrrr. nice, kick boxing! love those workouts. fun. hope it's durian season for you then. mom tri's is so nice, you'd love staying there.

  • Hi Ani

Instead of a vanilla bean, what do you think about vanilla powder?

  • @xaniim vanilla powder is great too. :)
