i downloaded the demo on pc isntalled it and it says something about modified code is not allowed please reinstall the game...i did it 4 times now! it says something about binaries too

the reason why it doesnt work is because the UT3 demo has long expired. if u want it to work then u have to turn the date back to 2006. hope this helped u.

if u have the demo, the reason why it doesnt work is because the demo has expired and you have to set your date back to 2008 so it would work.

I used Fraps 2.8.2 or 2.9.1 - Full Version (look at ThePirateBayDOTcom) and you'll find it, it's just a meg or two. It can record in full or half your resolution, record at certain frame-rates (aka. recorded file ends up with a strict frame-rate playback) and stuff like that.

Basicly the game looks the same in the full version, as this was the Beta-Demo they might short down certain effects and textures to save up some data - but in the core the full game is not stunningly much more detailed.

The picture has nothing to do with OS. Check your settings and make sure your computer can utilize all the technologies in the game as certain misses in the hardware configuration could cause visual restrictions.

Test the demo to see if your PC is up for the challenge. Never ask stuff before a Demo, just download it, it only takes a hour, top. The Demo is little population nowadays and the full game costs only around 199SEK which is roughly $20.

Nope, it's also for PlayStation 3 and Xbox360. Though I dare to say it is focused for the PC since that is where the big Unreal fanbase is, but with the increased console market-share (in comparison to the PC) it's hard to deny that there's a huge amount of players playing this on consoles well.

You're not exactly the best player around though. You can fire the hellfire a lot easier you know. Once the missile is in-flight just press the left mouse button and you'll deploy a camera. Then just click on the thing you want to shoot and you'll hit it dead-on (if nothing's in your way). Oh, and there's a hoverboard in UT3. ;)

Uhm u need DirectX 9.0 or 10 not 1.0..

Foxmaster, the DirectX10 is ONLY a markening trick and you will never get to see a application exclusive to Windows Vista more than the suckiest ones that fail the hardest (Halo 2 PC, etc.). As long as your videocard supports Shader Model 2.0 or higher you'll technicly be supporting every application nomatter if it supports DirectX10 or not.
