  • I believe 93 is in the movie Babe :D

  • Out of all 100 there were only 16 I didn't know or recognize XDDD

  • I hate Twinkle Twinkle now because of Dead Space. That song freaks me out :(

  • I haven't heard classical for quite a while but... I think I've heard a lot of these songs less than a day ago...

  • I wish each of these were 10 minutes long.

  • 0:31 think this is in harry potter?

  • @obtmj it must be! i remember that song from the harry potter quidditch game i used to play, so i guess it must have been in harry poter at some point

  • @obtmj No it wasn't.

  • @Linkage1992 Yes, in the quidditch game i used to play

  • can't find any dvorak ??? handel sarabande ??? brams symphony 3 ??? pavane gustave faure ? i can go on a on . mozart bach beethoven could have made top 50 so we wait for the top 200 ... humm ... , but good job anyway i enjoy it a lot.

  • Long story short : thank you very much.

  • 24 people have a turdy life without these musics

  • i never really listen to classical music...but 2day after school i just wanted 2 relax and take a big BREAK 4rm my GCSE's and i've learnt sommat about myself....I LOVE THIS....I LOVE CLASSICAL MUSIC !!! (i'm normally a hip-hop & R& B, Bhangra girl )

  • Symphony No. 25 only 97??????!?!?!?!

  • @Yuvilastor I have to agree with you as it is my favorite piece of music ever.

  • 24 people missed the like button

  • 24 people have no life.

  • Thank You for all your classical clips, they're awesome!

  • Verdi's Aida is not in the list.

Prokofiev's Romeo & Julliet is not in the list.

  • What did the 'Marche Slave' yo you?

  • because of classical music, i now do better in school

  • Sounds like Tchaikovsky was against slavery.

  • EARGASM :D

  • Classical music is so beautiful <3

  • #95: I love that song! :) I would place it higher if I had a list like this. :)

  • is verdi's dies irae in here twice?

  • @vivarandomness The "Dies Irae" is a standard part of a Requiem (funeral) Mass. There are several Requiems by several composers - and so there are several "Dies Irae" pieces.

#75 "Dies Irae" is by Mozart.

#98 "Dies Irae" is by Verdi.

Visit the website to clear up any questions you may have :)

  • @vivarandomness Mozart has one too.

  • ho trovato una musica che cercavo disperatamente!THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

  • Anybody here watch Mitsudomoe? i wanna know what piece they were playing when Futaba was sliding on ice...it's a piece usually used when someone is flying in slowmo

  • Nothing could ever be compared to this type of music.

    Its beauty will shine eternally.....

  • @14TodesAngel880 You are being monitored. 6sz-gd77-2mc-o0

  • Thank you so much :) o found the song that i was looking for for soo long :)

  • 96 ! dead space

  • I went through the list of this Top 100 countdown and to my bewilderment I didn't see Mozart's Lacrymosa. And I thought it would be #1..

  • @98AncientGoddess98 Very true but I guess it's because this is top 100 "Most Popular", not best 100.

  • 97 Makes me think of Romeo and Juliet.

The remake with Claire Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The scene where Juliet is being told by the wetnurse, "Go, seek happy nights, seek happy days." Something along those lines. :p

  • never mind i foud it, it was carl orff i was looking for

  • is there a classicalsong called "Armageddon" its used in alot of movies, games and such ... i'm not talking about ride of the valkeryies ...

  • There's a classical song or something like it that has a fast-playing flute as the main instrument. I've been trying to find it for a long time, but I cannot. I wonder what it is.

  • @MisterTissueBox Could it be Bach "Badinerie?" watch?v=xVxwuirUX-M

  • @kickassclassical That is it! Haha, thank you.

  • @MisterTissueBox Great!

  • @kickassclassical thanks i was searching for this song also

  • Wow, nice list, but I still haven't found the one I'm looking for. I believe the most popular part of the piece is played with violin or strings in general, and I think the tempo increases a little. I've probably heard it in some AFV montage video or something

  • #97 FTW!!!! ahhhh love it!!! okay, i love them all but...ahhhhh classical bliss meltdown! *faints*

  • PONEN OBRAS DE DELIBES, DE DENZA, DE SOUZA Y NADA DE STRAVINSKY EN LOS 100 VIDEOS !!?? ESTAMOS TODOS LOCOS !

  • where is vivaldi with four seasons (winter)

  • dude, where's fuckin' Chopin?!

    SHAME.

  • THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH

  • No single piece of Salieri?!

  • i love all types of music ,because they all have some good songs my favorite genre is real underground hip hop music but theres no compering to classical music why,,,because like underground hip hop it is not commercialized and have the most ratings pop ,rnb, and rock, fake hip-POP are most commercialized thats why they are most listened,,,,, i think that reality in form of good music is 1.Classical , , , , 2.techno(dance,trance,house)because its hip hop and rock together 3.rock 4.real h-h 5.rest
  • I know it's the top 100 POPULAR pieces, and by popular, probably to the general population, but not including Dvorak's 9th Symphony "From the New World" is a horrendous shame. Dvorak doesn't even appear once on the list!

  • Grande Sousa :)

  • @Portugalking74

    Verdade!

  • Someone can tell me what the song is when spongebob draws a drawing on the blackboard when squidward is in his class, I hear it everywhere but can't find it anywhere

  • 93 från that movie about the pig "babe" (thats the swedish title not sure about if it is the same in english)

  • can some1 help me. i wanna know the name of the song thats violins or something and its at the start of a jason durulo song does any1 know

  • Dies Irae...I could have sworn I heard this in a boss battle in a video game, but I can't place it...

  • thanks a lot!!!

  • i like 99,98,95

  • Has anyone else noticed that Tom and Jerry use this music constantly?

  • Very nice !!! :)

  • no dvorak ;/

  • I love Tchaikovsky. His music is so unique, it really stands out among the rest.

  • Radetzky March! My absolute favorite!

  • damn! the funny thing is i heard most of those songs while i was watching tom & jerry as a kid! :D

  • @iLuvHardStyle idem... :))

  • I am looking for a piece similiar to #99 (the beginning), but its sound is more romantic... I just don't know its name. Can anyone help me? =)

  • @Nefrit13

    Scheherazade by Rimsky Korsakov ?

  • @ProudSNG

Oh no, sorry its not that piece... The one I am looking for actually sounds like a waltz

  • Why is Mozart "Piano Convcerto No. 21 In c" number 94?? that should be in the top 10!!!!

  • Is it me or Ave Maria isn't in the list?

  • where's debussy's prelude to the afternoon of a faun? they have excluded the best pieces!

  • hey can some one help me out with this one. I was watching a tom and jerry cartoon and tom was at the piano playing a piece by beethoven I can't figure out is it symphony 3 or 5. it is one of beethoven's best pieces. it is a very uptempo flow.

  • @tanio12 Could be "Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2" by Franz Liszt.

  • @kickassclassical

no it is a piano concerto by beethoven but I can't think of it.

  • @tanio12 If I'm thinking of the same episode, Tom's owner is Johann Strauss. I think all or most of the pieces are from him. Maybe a different episode though.

  • @kickassclassical I thought it was composed by Anthony Horowitz.

  • @tanio12 Pretty sure it must be: Khachaturian - Sabre Dance

  • @tanio12 Khachaturian - Sabre Dance ;)

  • @tanio12 Maybe it's Beethoven Moonlight sonata, 3rd movement, it's certainly uptempo... ;)

  • @CrimeReport It isn't that bad, but I agree: no Stravinsky (Rite of Spring), no Dvorak (New World Symphony), no Chopin (Nocturnes). Also, how can you remember to add "Night at Bald Mountain" and you forgot "Pictures at an Exhibition", the #1 from Mussorgsky? No donut for you.

  • Are you kidding me? mozart symphony number 25? not in the top ten?

  • @wenzjayy : I so agree with...

I was quite startled to see that!

  • Marche Slave is just incredible. Should be higher than 99.

  • I remember #100 and some other pieces from Battle Royale.

  • 96 lol ^^

  • and where is smetanas vltava and dvoraks new world symphony???

  • Excellent.

  • way too many tschaikovsky's... There were about 10 pieces of him. should have credited other famous composers, such as Chopin who went unnoticed

  • AMAZING

  • Every time I hear "Funiculi, funiculi", I can't help but think of the mafia restaurant scene from the movie 'Vampire in Brooklyn'. :))

  • so i made pizza while listening to funiculi, funicula... needless to say, it was the most epic pizza i ever made :)

  • Where's Holst in all of this? You could have stuck Mars in there somewhere.

  • 95 - Pizza Ristorante :D

  • Haha! I find it funny that Funiculi, Funicula somehow always shows up in an Italian themed movie somehow. The second I heard it, all I could think was pasta, Rome, Venice and dudes driving around on vespas trying to pick up chicks.

  • @keepinlow i thought of spider-man O.o (he does pizza delivery in a game can't remember which game tho)

  • Dies Irae was in the Harry Potter Quidditch video game. Noice.

  • Marche Slave sort of sounds like th Mummy theme....

  • Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star is by Mozart? No way oO

Thank you very much for this top ten list. It helps my knowledge.

  • @Bauzi514 must have wrote it when he was 2.... lol

  • @Bauzi514 Weird, huh? :) And the song from "The Sleeping Beauty". Until recently, I didn't know it was by Tchaikovsky; I thought it was originally written for the Disney movie! O.O

  • Such an excelent work, congratulations and respect

  • The most classical music I know from ''Tom & Jerry'' and similar cartoons... almost all 100! ^^

  • @loveHstuff

    soooooo trueeee :DDDDD

    me too :DD

  • I've heard 96, 95, 92, and 91.

  • It is amazing how this music tells stories without words... Love it

  • can someone tell me how to find the version of Denzas Funiculi Funicula thats on here?

  • omg where is A. Dvorak??? like this - /watch?v=yctfXIqugXc

  • lol name: vienna blood :D:D:D

  • and whats about Dvorak,Smetana,hm?-)

  • have heard 100, 96 (lol), 95, 93, 92, before, TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR!! :'3

  • heads down, kickassclassical

  • I've heard 94 of them.

  • Classical music is more a computer program than it is music

  • Radetxky should have better position than 100, in my opinion. Maybe around 77-80 at least. Johann Strauss is very good, so he deserve more

  • 100 RULES

  • The radetzky should have better ranking than 100. In my opinon, maybe around 75 80 at least

  • dies irae from verdi is the best...

  • OMG OMG OMG AND OMG I never liked classicals but now i like them so much

  • @bobek70 you actually thought this entire list was of americans? This entire SECTION isn't even all americans.

Thank you for bringing my attention to this GLORIOUS MUSIC

  • 0:11 to 0:17 sounds like one of Roses theme from DoctorWho lol

  • Wow! Rite of Spring by Stravinsky did not crack the top 100? Great list though..Thank you..

  • Dies Irae appears twice! unless it's a diff movement.....

  • @flowerlullaby The "Dies Irae" is a standard part of a Requiem (funeral) Mass. There are several Requiems by several composers - and so there are several "Dies Irae" pieces.

#75 "Dies Irae" is by Mozart.

#98 "Dies Irae" is by Verdi.

  • I'm happy to say I recognized nearly all 100. Mom & Dad raised me well!

  • isnt it weird how i cant tell u one piece from the other but i can hum almost every one of them i know from movies and stuff. i quite like most of these..

  • you might brought all of those, but it doesn't mean you have to put 8% americans there. Dvorak and Smetana deserve to be in top 100..i would even say top 10 for Dvorak

  • vivaldis winter didnt make it into the top 100 O.o blasphemy

  • @kickassclassical Dude, what do you expect... its america

  • @yanjun Levan Polka?

  • like it very much.

  • I hav 2 say, your 10 vids are awesome!!!!!

  • wasn't 98 in the lion king?

  • @aquafresh091 Nope, it wasn't. Verdi isn't used much in Disney stuff.

  • amazing how many of these you actually now even though you dont listen to classical very much!

  • @goreziad The reason why we know them so well is because cartoons used to slip them in back the day.. Like Bugs Bunny and Tom & Jerry

  • there's some from the previous list.. but still I love it!

  • All pieces only appear once.

Visit the website to clear up any questions you may have :)

  • Its called Wiener Blut waltz - that is Vienna blood waltz

  • wow I remember so many of these from Ren and Stimpy ahahaha

  • #93 = The tiptoe song!! XD

  • @xxxFRIARxxx The tiptoe song?

  • By the "tiptoe" song, I meant that's the song I usually hear in cartoons whenever the character is tiptoeing. :)

  • And which one is that? I'm asking because I donlt watch old timey cartoons much...my TV doesn't work unless I am using a VHS tape.

  • 95: VEGGIE TALES! Larry's high silk hat!!!! :D

  • @ohhMOONshoesPOTTER I thought I was the only one who noticed that :DDD

  • Ha! I never knew Mozart did Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

  • It was like, his first :)

  • 93- I listened to that one in the movie Babe (the one about the pig based on the book).
