  • nice videos

  • Your videos are top notch! I am a fan! keep up the good work

  • @ollo1982 I said in my other comment "The wingtips are slightly different". I never said winglets, I said wingtip.

  • i need glasses or the british airways 767 makes a little jump with the front gear a few seconds after engines to 100%?

  • @SuperAlexD13 dont think it does... seems to me like its the marking on the runway, but ofcourse i can be very wrong about that tho...

  • @lukefinch101 i'll believe it when i see you put a video of yourself up... and once again fsx doesn't count

  • @lukefinch101

    Are you an airline pilot?

  • Comment removed

  • @lukefinch101

How long have you been a pilot?

  • @lukefinch101

Yeah sure. Why don't you post real videos? All of your videos are FS FS FS!!!! Yeah sure I can also say that I'm a pilot. Hey look I'm a pilot for Virgin Alantic. It wasn't that hard.

  • @lukefinch101 Don't get upset kid! Flight Sim doesn't count....

  • is it A300 or A310(onur air)

  • i never notice the 767-300 with RR engines before!

  • nice vid...

    love airplanes

  • why was the British 767 waiting?

  • @P8NTBALL60 sounds like they were waiting on the stewardesses to get ready.

  • Amazing vid!

  • ! Hey Tom felicidades, exelentesvideos

  • OMG the BA 767 wing looked SO clean! Almost fooled me into thinking it was a 777.

  • Omg Tose Were The Days That BA Were Interested In Manchester

  • @manbal100

    nope

    1) Onurair Airbus A300-600R

    2) British Airways 767-300ER

    3) correct

  • The Roll Royce question is easily addressed...sort of like an unspoken rule/policy Boeing has with the British...A case of national Pride and the added expense of higher maintenance costs related to more down-time with those RR turbines.

  • Comment removed

  • Why is the BA 767 the only operator of the RR engine? exept Qantas

  • Are you really THAT close to the runway, is it a viewing spot. seems very close to the aircraft during take off.

  • @trvwatson yeah, it's a viewing spot it also has concorde in it with a few others like the nimrod. Its pretty cool

  • heyyy how did you get the pilots and air traffic conrtol speaking on the video.... did you put your scanner near your camera????

  • When did BA stop flying to JFK from MAN and to europe?

  • Well done! Thank you!

  • @Appleshaz It is. He says "contact departure freq 133.80" because he cant be bothered saying London Control and he has already given the after dep freq before take-off.

  • how do here the radio speaking ??

    beacuse its weird :)

  • @suckerz01520 Its done with a basic radio scanner. Most radio traffic in airport are done on open radio lines with no encoding, more or less the same as most police radios and rescue services. Your not allowed to talk on those frequencies but its ok to listen in.

  • Those a300 airbus don't usally take off with flaps open.

  • @Chrispy854 Thanks for that some people just don't know do they :P

  • @fannypenis Your welcome :D and also I love your name 'fannypenis' LOL XD

  • @Chrispy854 LmaoO

  • @fannypenis Your so random XD

  • Huh,did anyone else notice that the A300 had barely any flaps set for takeoff.Must have been a very light load.

  • @JesseCasserly757 They don't use flaps usually for takeoff.

  • @fannypenis

Flaps assist an aircraft in getting of the ground.

  • @TheMarkOfTheBeast1 Do you know anything about the A300/10?

  • @fannypenis

I know its flaps are for assisting its lift...

  • was that a a320 at the beginning? because the engine size and cabin size seems slightly different to the a330....

  • @32x4 It's an A310

  • @fannypenis It's an A300, Onur have never had A310's.

  • @GWWBB My bad, same still applies.

  • i'm guessing at 2:40 it's a 777

  • @11amray 767

  • you can tell this is an older video, just because of the fact a BA 767 is departing! :P .. unless its a repaint jobby,, but isnt BA repaint hangers in Cardiff? some1 correct me! :)

  • i think this is A300 not A330

A330 have a bit longer wings

  • very interesting communications does speaker 1 mean the pilot?

  • NICE!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

  • was the first plane an a310 or a300? also, how do i tell the difference between the two?

  • the a300 is about 8m longer than a310.

But A310 has a much wider body. as for the wings, cant really tell they have the same winglets.

  • @greengoblin200 It's a A300-600. 4 doors (2 in front of the wing, 1 emergency exit and 1 door behind the wing). The A310 has 3 doors (1 in front of the wing, 1 emergency exit over the wing, 1 door behind the wing). The fuselage of a A300 is longer than a A310 and the wingspan is wider (4 mountings on the outer flap instead of 3). Same width ot the fuselage, same enginges, same tail fin.

  • @eltfell thanks :)

  • @greengoblin200 A300

  • @greengoblin200 the first plane is an a330. I know that because i've been on an a330

  • @Nicster777 its is not a330 its a a300

  • @greengoblin200 the a310 is slightly smaller than the a300

  • @greengoblin200 The A300 is way longer tha the A310 !

  • @greengoblin200 The A310 is a slightly shorter version of the A300 and A310's have slightly smaller horizontal stabilisers.

  • @greengoblin200

    1. The A310 is shorter

    2. The wingtips are slightly different

    3. There are 3 pylons on the A310. There are 4 pylons on the A300.

    4. All passenger A300s have 4 emergency exits on each side, where the A310 only has 3.

    5. The A300 doesn't have an overwing exit.

  • @greengoblin200 the 310 is shorter

  • @greengoblin200 the wingtips and/or the lenght of the aircraft

  • wats the BA aircraft? 767? i cnt tell

  • @packs5100 I think it is a

    British Airways

    Boeing 767-336/ER, registration G-BNWU

  • Comment removed

  • @packs5100 its a 767

  • Did you film the Thomas cook a330?

  • Is that a A330? (Onur Air)

  • @myrnaloysboy

    Thats an Airbus A300-600R.

  • @FSXGuy1 Thank you for your help.

  • @myrnaloysboy

You are very welcome. You could see by the winglets, landing gear position, the engine noise, and many more stuff.

  • @FSXGuy1 I see, but doesn't a A330 have winglets like that? Also, how old are these A300-600s now?

  • @myrnaloysboy

The A300 winglets are both going up and down and the A330 winglets only go up

  • @FSXGuy1 Thanks again oh font of information!

  • @myrnaloysboy

    Your welcome

  • @FSXGuy1 that is why A330 have winglets and A320family,A380,A310 and A300 have wingtip fences.. not winglet! :D

  • @myrnaloysboy I think its A300 but Im not 100'% sure

  • @PMDGpilot737 IT IS AN AIRBUS 300 THE A330 HAS A LONGER FUSELAGE WITH 2 P AND W ENGINES . A340 IS THE SAME BUT HAS 4 P AND W ENGINES..

  • @DNICE9ER Didn't I say so? I see A330 every day.

  • @DNICE9ER te A340-200/-300 uses cfm56 engines and the -500/-600 seris uses RR trents

  • awesome ;)

  • 777 is the best...

  • it`s a 777

  • onur air i think s an turkish airline

  • yes it is.

  • The 220 is a 5nought and the 7zigga is bluey

  • singapore airlines engines sound are slightly heavier...

  • Yes SIngapore has RR Trent engines. I was just saying that i love the 777 with Ge-90 lol.

  • I see!

  • is the onur air a a300-600 or a310?

  • Airbus A330-200

  • definetely not Airbus A330... First, it doesn't even look like an A330, second, Onur Air does not operate any A330..

  • Yup honest mistake...Its an A300-600R

  • Love the Boeing 777 with Ge-90 engines.

  • Aren't they Trents? Singapore chose RR for their engines on the 777?

  • Yes they are the Trents, much different sound and shape.

  • onur is a300 ya?

  • yes it is, you can tell by nose and winglets:)

  • A330-200

  • @CALanceGokongwei

No it is not an a330, it is a 767.

  • The 767 is the British Airways, I mean't about the Onur Air

  • Yeah the Onur air is an A300. The British Airways is a 767.

  • its a a300

  • lol not a 767 either, it's an A300.

  • The British Airways is. The Onur Air isn't :)

  • Ah, it seemed like you were talking about the Onur.

  • Horrible sound for the Onur Air and no flaps? Love the Singapore Airlines

  • @bngauw its a good sound, and yes,he have set flaps... you can see the flaprons have gone down with the flaps :D

  • i love manchester airport

  • My favorite is definitely the 777 at the back. Love the sound it makes when it opens the throttles. I live and work under the flight path pretty close to the runways at Manchester. Watching the 777s come in out of my window is fantastic. As are the A340s and the 747s.

  • where did british airways fly their 767s from manchester to

  • I went MAN -> JFK on a BA 767 in 2003...

  • They flew from Manchester to New York but they stopped the service in september 2008 :)

  • JFK

  • lol Onur air wasnt able to land in europe for certain time

    nice vid!

  • awesome video. i love that you record the tower communications as well.

  • onur air is crap

  • i guess the british airways plane is old

  • hmmm...first aircraft no flaps?

  • Yeah your right it looks :S

  • I think its a q400 what youre talking about so correct me if im wrong but I saw one take off from newark and it didnt have flaps down either, with that kinda plane the flaps are used for landing

  • love the screamin 777

  • the best was british airways 767

  • @dylancrawford100 I was on it. I was in Club World for the very first time. BA1503 to New York JFK Boeing 767. Unbelievable.

  • It's always very nice to hear the British accent of the BA pilot's!

  • i couldnt agree more my friend, a true british pilot

  • yep

  • Feel free to ask me whatever you want about this plane. I was the pilot of this plane. I'm retired now and enjoy the good life.

  • @GGGunitNextLevel Where were you flying to?

  • @X46RAPTOR I was flying everywhere xD

  • usualy is wide body but it can be a 757 to

  • comment deletin spazzy below

  • What is meant by "Heavy"?

  • That the gross weight is high enough to cause wake turbulence to plane flying behind it.

  • That is absolutely incorrect. Wake turbulence is generated by every airplane generating lift.

  • You are correct, but the poster was asking what the term 'heavy' refers to. The term 'heavy' does not apply to every aircraft.

  • This basically applies to all 'jumbo' jets and even certain large narrow bodies such as the Boeing 757.

  • Is the crew on that flight working for free?

  • It is an A300-600, which has newer CF6 engines. Some other -600s have PW engines. The original A300 had CF650 engines just like the DC-10 and 747-200

  • no he's right A300B4 probably a 605R but i can't tell for sure

  • Was this on the same day as the other video where the French A320 tries to beat the Thomson 757 off the runway

  • BA has the best ATC callsign...Speedbird :D

  • Jets sound awesome when they power u..pretty awesome

  • superb video....cheers for sharing it !!!

  • Rolls Royce Trent 800 series :D

  • Rolls Royce Trent 800 Series of engines.

  • Trent engines are Roll Royce!!

  • trent 800s

  • how do you get the ATC? that's wierd man hearing what the pilot is saying!

  • Air band radio

  • sickk asssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why is it sometimes the runways at manchester are referred to as 05 and 23 (L and R), and other times they are referred to as 06 and 24 (L and R) other times! which is it?

  • its supposed to be 06 & 24 but some pilots have learnt that the angle is 05 & 23 but its common to use both

  • thanks, i did wonder!

  • Nope, they changed permanently to 05's and 23's when the magnetic variation deemed 06's and 24's were not aligned magnetically. Older videos will show 06's and 24's because the magnetic variation was not great enough to change to 05's and 23's.

  • It's not supposed to be 06L/R and 24 L/R respectively anymore due to magnetic variation, they are now 23L/R and 05L/R respectively.
