I came here just to tell you it's called a blow OFF valve.

you got to 4th gear and it looked like you weren't even moving not saying you were slow just spinning your tires a lot. at least thats what it looked like

what exactly is a blow out valve?

@DIZZLEyrf a blow off valve is a little pipe looking thing that has a little piston in it when you hook at turbo up to it, it holds pressure and when you relase the clutch to shift it shoots out some of that pressure like you hear on some tunner makes a pshhh sound at every shift

@acemontages Not the clutch the accelerator. You release the accelerator to release pressure.

@acemontages I always thought, that BOV has nothing to do with clutch or gear changing. From what I know it just doesn't allow to overpressurize everything between throttle and turbo/supercharger by letting out excess pressure that accumulates after closing the throttle flaps... You can hear "pshshtsss" just by stepping off the gaspedal... even when standing still.

But... maybe I'm wrong :D

yup i got 4.10s but im gona downgrade to 3.73

do you have 4.10 gears in that thing or something?...it accelerates horribly, doesn't seem like there's any traction
