  • oh, god. I cannot do ballroom. that looks scary!

  • name of the song plz?

  • Best Tango Ever!!!

  • Grandissimo mirco sei il mio esempio nel ballo il tuo modo di ballare mi ispira a fare sempre meglio fantastico

  • Allesia is amazing in this video. She is so fast and precise....

  • Connection in promenade position is only right side (man) to left side (woman) of hips. It's about twisting hips and body, but shoulders, hands - is still the same position. And that's the thing. Only good dancers do it properly. Just like Mirko and Aleesia.

    I know it, because I'm a dance instructor. ;-)

  • bello

  • julieflowergirl .. who where you talking to ?

  • I take back what I said .. It does matter if they lose their connection ... because than she cant follow his body weight and he cant control her .. !

  • Mutineer9 are you saying that they don´t have a good basic ? Just If you look at a couple with cood technique like Lucca and Lorraine Baricchi you can take them as a good example ;*

  • It isn´t that important if they lose theyr connection because they have so many other good things :D

  • They do a lots of other's bad thinks, most of "profeccional" dancers guilty in it. For example, do not follow line of dance, going oagains line of dance. If one does demo of ballroom dance, I expect follow basic rules of ballroom dancing. I am allways in horror when competitive dancers come to social. They have no floocraft, no basic undestanding how one suppous to move around dance floor. No wander, just look on this "demo"!

  • You are funny though. anyone can follow line of dance and keep their bodies stuck together like glue. I doubt it's possible to become a good dancer keeping that as main priority. technique is used to show character and musicality and to create movement and shape. nobody does it better than this couple

  • If you are familiar with the F1 race car design, these cars are built just for major competitions.

Several drive tests are conducted to understand their design.

These dancers routinely start some aspect, let's say the velocity , and push themselves to the limit, obviously in the demo.

The presentation is mostly likely from an artistist view and not a ballroom instructor.

The topics will be optimized to provide high contrast, and comparately less aligned with the basic rules.

  • @Mutineer9

It's a demonstration. Please, try again.

I also laughed out loud on your comment about no floorcraft. Take a look at this video:

    watch?v=m8vOGV1RAcA

No social dancer can ever reach the same floorcraft.

  • @AceyBlade i just watched your video, and all i can say is wow, that's some serious floorcraft. I think that, as a ballroom dancer myself, one of the only things i hope to rely on while navigating the floor is that there is a flow. fast slow just something, when people stop, probably especially during a professional dance, that's when the problems happen

  • bellissimo

  • PEOPLE, theres a reason he has no number on his back and they are the only ones dancing on the floor....this is a showdance meanning they can do watever they want...even lose their connection if it makes them look better

  • their coaches obviously dont use the method mine did to help keep body contact sorry but at times you can get a blackpool tram through between them certainly not what you would expect from world champs

  • Maybe you can show them how it's done next year--they just won for the 3rd time, I'd like to see you even make it past the first round.

  • So i am not allowed to ask a question? Just because they are World Champs? I always thought, that permanent connection would be one of the most important things in Standard dancing. Seems like i was wrong. Your comment is fucking stupid, i did not question their quality and claimeld that i would be better.

    It was just interest.

  • connection is important i was just commenting on the loss of it and how my teacher helped us to keep ours when dancing thats all read the comments properly next time and stop swearing or i will report you

  • @NikolasK88 I don't know how much you know about ballroom dance, let me put this way, by connection, you have to define what connection means first. basic connection include hands, shoulder, hip, leg and knee(in tango), just simply body connection. higher level, then we are talking about position, weight, body rise and others. in short, there's no permanent connection since the bodies are constantly in motion, but there's constant connection b/w dancers. hope that answers your question.

  • @ChineseMonster

I've seen him comment before and I can tell you he knows very little of dancing in general. At least much less than he thinks he knows.

  • ITS CALLED BODY CONTACT PAL get your teachers to tell you about it thats if you are a dancer if not stop leaving comments on something you know nothing about, i know they won the british open for the third time i was there

  • doesnt it matter when they lose their connection?

  • YES

  • so, it does matter or not?

  • connection is there to help dancers, it's not the main priority. they are together in all basic movements, but they can afford to lose part of the connection for a half a second to create speed and shape in syncopeted and outside movements. dancing is not only about holding

  • music: "Tango 65" from "The Ballroom Mix 2"

  • Fantastico, e ci vedo moltissimo l'impronta del mentore Fabio Selmi, specie nella coreografia...ma l'allievo ha decisamente superato il maestro! ;-)

  • remarkable

  • Just defines Tango doesnt it!

  • amazing !

  • I have no words, You guys danced so beautifully this tango. I never saw something like that.Lots

    of compliments!!!!!10stars*****
