Goodness gracious, ASH is such a marvelous actor. I love the look on Giles' face when Buffy starts her "what can't we do if we're together" spiel. He clearly doesn't believe her (unlike everyone else who falls for it hook line and sinker) but allows himself to pretend that he does.
