Thanks for the tips. I ordered her to and the hair was cute but just really thin and the curls were so big and tight. I will try separating the curls with my finger to see how that helps.

Not at all! But, I learned a trick to deal with too shiny hair...they say to dust the hair with baby powder (lightly) to take away the shine
