That happens at Six Flags or what ever the fuck they call it now. The towr of doom got stuck for like 3 hours and the people were alll the way at the top. Wat if they had to pee??? lol

It doesnt break down anymore, they fixed EVERYTHING.

I went on SAW last week, nothing happened, it was an AMAZING ride so no one should be worried :)

Saw Broke down for about half an hour on april the 13th lol always the 13th and my mates dad was at the front of the que lol lucky.. mind you stealth also broke down for the 1st time when he was queing up for that...

On the massive drop bit you cant actually get stuck because there's that chain type thing wich is always movin and never stops and isnt anything to do wiv the rest of the ride operations... but it doesn't get stuck very often atall =D I would still be quite scared if it suddenly stopped though and i was up there for like an hour or something !! Imagine if you were on the top of stealth and it suddenly stopped!! That would be sooo scary !! And that actually has happened before !! x

There is no chain involved once you come off the lift hill. It is all done by GRAVITY!

It would be very rare for a coaster to get stuck up-side down. But SAW:The Ride has got stuck on the very top bit of the lift hill. Ride at Thorpe Park keep breaking because its run by windows which is not built to controll rides! But somthimes it is cause a problem.

It got stuck again on Saturday but it was worse than it was in this video - the people who were stuck on it were lying horizontal and the car was near the top of the tallest bit of the track for nearly 20 minutes and it was blazing sunshine! Mind you they all cheered when it finally got going again so I don't think anyone was too traumatised.

Its not scary at all, people makeing it up because its a new ride. Make sure you are in the park once they open in the morning not to be stuck in the queue for more then 2 hours.

This ride in the short time that it has been open has had the most breakdowns on record (official) for how long it has been open.I'd go up the fucking wall if I'd queued for 2 hours+ only to have it close down....it's bad enough that at Thorpe you ordinarily only get to ride about 6 good rides in the day if you're lucky,...not a good thing considering the entrance fee is so high (unless you pay extra at the desk ....robbing fuckers).....

@gggggaaaaarrrrryyyyy I agree with you there after going yesterday. Fair enough it was the school holidays, but it was bloody rediculous. Luckily I had one free ticket but there was two of us. We didn't expect the prices to be so high, £37 for one adult, scandulous! And we only got to go on like 4 rides and only 2 of them were the main coasters!

The reason the ride broke was because it 'tripped' which is when they take too long to dispatch a train from the station and the car behind it catches up and tells itself "I can't go any further because there's a car on the blocks in front". It then cuts out the whole ride.

The reason why it's testing but not allowing anyone on is because the ride is being tested in manual and it's illegal to have anyone on in manual. And they can't put it on automatic (fixed) until an engineer fixes it.

Well it was closed saturday like it says on the video... Also today, well the whole park in fact. They had a huge power cut so Thorpe was closed all day. So i've heard its ment to be closed for 2 weeks casue of the problem they had. But i think that its a rumor. I'll let u know as i know people who work their and on SAW...

I was there on the day of the power cut, the park didnt shut down, its just half the rides werent open for the first 2/3 hours of the day.
