@neworder1868 Justin Bieber can do 10X better than this crap, 80's music is shit that gets stuck in your head! Why do you wanna time machine, the music now is fine!!!
@XxChrissyBear21 Are you fucking retarded, Yes! This music is great, if I had a time machine I would go back to the 80's for sure, the music now is shit, go listen to Lady Gaygay or Justin Bieber, because you have NO taste in real music, I have plenty taste! Exspecially oldschool rock N Roll, or new wave, this music is better than all the others!
@XxChrissyBear21 ha ha its stuck in your head? sweet i wanna listen! crazy. hey everyone! we can have a 80s dance party in chrissybears head! Join me!
@neworder1868 i am lauing my head off if you think Justin Bieber music and the music of today is better than the 80's wowow dude what are you smoking. If was noit for MTV back in 1981 teenagers of today would not even know what a music video is .The music of today sucks so much .Lady GAGA needs to smoke more crack or better yea the mother ship just landed to drop her off from the planet of WTF.The music of today all sounds like rap thats because of it is really crap. You have nooooooooooooooo
@neworder1868 idea what your talking about if you think the music of today is better than the 80's .There are a couple of 100's of songs from the 80's that kick ass to this day while todays music sucks and will always suck.So keep listening to Justin Bieber he does what is called Lip singing and compare to the 80's back then it is called real music always had and always will
@XxChrissyBear21 Chrissy, sweetheart, I'm picturing you right now! At 14 you know it all!!! Write to me when you're my age (probably your nanna's age) & tell me how 'fine' the current commercial crap is. Actually, I'll be dead by then. Tell you what, write back when you're old enough to pay for your own mobile & can carry a conversation without having to use 'like' 14 times in a sentence that means nothing. I might even listen to what you believe an informed 'opinion' is. Justin Bieber???!!!!
@XxChrissyBear21 You're 14, you think this music is fine because its all you know. You're not old enough to have a deep musical palette, go play outside.
@XxChrissyBear21 Right on sista justin bieber for life gurl these fags dont know nothing about good music......fuck them, oh and ya I forgot to mention to save the teddy bears by donating money to the teddy bear foundation so we can save the teddy bears, yeah teddy bears rule!
When I heard ifrst this song on the radio back in '84 I though it was a women like Amanda Lear, what shock it's man...but the song is soooooooooooooo great
I found out about this song way back when I decided to watch "the Wizard" video game movie. This track has stuck with me ever since. I dig this track.
Dude, yes the Scorpions have a song by the same name as this, however that is NOT a remake of this song. It is a completely different song with different lyrics and music. Their song has absolutely nothing to do with this song.
So you didn`t understand the joke, sure it has nothing to do with that. I´m in rock and metal for over 25 years now, i think i know about this. Perhaps it was the wrong smiley behind my statement? :-O
Love this band. Their newer stuff is awesome too. Very underrated synthpop act. If everyone would get off Depeche Mode's dick for a minute, they wouldn't miss out so much.
Classic...Nothing like the 80's rewind the time back to the 80's,love this song, still own the cassingle to ths song,Brings back memories,Wow where did the time go miss the 80's era
I love this song. truly an 80's classic, a tune that is better than most, even now days. oh my that synth and solo are memorable. send me an angel... right now...
@nadagain Of course technology in the 1990's was more advanced than it was in the 1980's- but the country had a much more competent U.S. president in the 1980's than it did in most of the 1990's. All the classic stuff made back in the 80's now is being brought back. So far we have seen Terminator, Die Hard, Rambo, and Indiana Jones as sequels to what started back in the 80's. Then we had Karate Kid and A-Team as remakes. Now Predator and Tron are both getting their own sequels as well.
@nadagain Not trying to form an argument here- just explaining what my comment I wrote a long time ago and had actually forgotten about until you responded was saying. I was only telling you that stuff made back in the 1980's must be considered great classics if they are going to make all this stuff now redoing them. I will admit that some of the remakes have been disappointing- like the A-Team movie that I felt like did things all wrong because I have seen every single episode to the TV show.
@JLC31383 Lol - Yeah I'm sorry no argument on my part. Arguing on youtube over which decade was better is pointless! I don't remember the 80s and since most of my formative years were during the 90s, of course its expected that I be biased. I was just messing with you - but I do believe my "tupac/nirvana" argument to be strong!
@nadagain My life began in 1983- so I was only a small child during the 1980's. Therefore, I do not have an accurate memory of that decade as I cannot properly recall anything that happened before the fall of 1988. All the stuff made back then that I have watched I saw when I was a lot older meaning it was outdated for the present moment. I just feel like stuff on film from the 80's is better than things made later on because they actually told stories. Stuff now is basically crap with action.
@JLC31383 I hear what you are saying but I reckon its mostly nostalgia. I mean movies like A.I, City of God, Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream (I could go on obviously) were all made in the last decade and have all been superb films.
@nadagain "A.I.: Artificial Intelligence" is the only movie you named off that I have actually seen. Some people are guessing that by next decade we will start seeing remakes of stuff made back in the 1990's. I really am not for sequels to old things when they are made more than 10 years later. The new movies trying to continue an old series only ruin it doing that. I was disappointed with "Terminator 3", "Die Hard 4", "Rambo 4", and "Indiana Jones 4". "Rocky 6" was the only okay one to do that.
@JLC31383 Hope Rocky 7 kicks it, because Sly writes the scripts and is the star actor seems to make a difference. But all these movies have 1 or more good scenes it`s just here and there you go, what made them do or say that that. Thank God for the skip button.
@MrSilkydrew I assume you are only being sarcastic- but Sly Stallone confirmed at the time that "Rocky 6" marks the end of the line for that series. The movie even ended with that being obvious. He has also recently confirmed that he is not interested in doing a "Rambo 5" after leading us to believe there was going to be one in 2011. There now are rumors floating around on the internet that there may still be one with another guy playing the character- but no one would want to see someone else.
LOL. Billboards for birthcontrol. I agree a video of something else would be much more appealing. Love this song. (That comment was a trip blitzspeer.)

I loved this song the first time that I heard in my youth. And I have definitely seen my share of both Angels and Demons! Thanks for the bridge to the great 80"s!
Yes it is. it was written by singer David Sterry and Keyboard player Richard Zatorski. I was lucky enough to have seen them live in my former hometown of Horsham, Vic a couple of times during the 1980's...Met them and they were the nicest guys, really down to earth and grateful for their success.
He Has Answered My Prayers..I Got My Angel. Love This Song. Reminds Me Of Doing Tricks On My Skyway Bicycle. Do They Still Make Those? Anyway..Thanks For The Memories.
oh my, loooove this song...kind of making me think of a dracula was on top of this building looking down...searching for a victim..but he fell in love instead.Keep following her wherever she goes....hahaha my imagination....
Yup this is the Australian version of the remix video, which was never seen outside Australia. At the time when VH1/MTV was doing their best of the 80's countdown they played the '83 version and not the remix. When I heard the remix had to run out and buy the CD, I like it alot more. Ended up selling it on ebay for 150 bucks a few years ago since at that point it was out-of-print for quite a few years (mp3 player more portable than CD walkman).
I just listened to the 89 version of this song, and I like this version a lot better. I never really noticed the difference between the two but it's there. Why did they remake the song only five years after the original?
Just a guess but probably because that was their best moneymaker. Still is considering how many other bands are covering it. Remixes by the same band a few years apart usually done to get more airplay time (advertising). Another example off the top of my head is Wham!'s Freedom in 1985 then George Michael doing it again with Freedom '90 in 1990.
Wish I knew who the hottie angel was. All I figured out was she is (or was) a model for an agency in Melbourne,AU. Granted, -20 years, make-up, costume, camera angle, video editing, etc. can work wonders but still, lol.
Despite who takes credit for it, this song was written by Trent Reznor for me. Look at the drummer, it's Trent when he was still Brian Tyler before his plastic surgery and heroine addiction ate his baby fat.
I asked David Sterry (lead singer) who did the angel voice and he said it was Lisa Edwards (in the '83 version too), who's pretty famous in Australia. I'm in Ohio so had to Google her to figure that out: h t t p://w w w . l i s a e d w a r d s .c o m . a u / i n d e x . h t m (remove all the spaces).
Add Info====Nice, the second cooler "angel girl" version of the band, and the cearer third version is the Parasite Eve 1 vid here in youtube. Thanks====tbc====....

This version of the tune is awsome too, sure the original had better music.
and this kind of music (pop)
went shi~ around 93 but good rap in the mid nineties sorted that out. till now.

I just listened to the 89 version of this song, and I like this version a lot better. I never really noticed the difference between the two but it's there. Why did they remake the song only five years after the original?
bloofan06 3 years ago
Just a guess but probably because that was their best moneymaker. Still is considering how many other bands are covering it. Remixes by the same band a few years apart usually done to get more airplay time (advertising). Another example off the top of my head is Wham!'s Freedom in 1985 then George Michael doing it again with Freedom '90 in 1990.

wood version is + cool

You nailed it - the '83 version is a work of art. This is from when the 80's started to go bad.

Wish I knew who the hottie angel was. All I figured out was she is (or was) a model for an agency in Melbourne,AU. Granted, -20 years, make-up, costume, camera angle, video editing, etc. can work wonders but still, lol.
Virtualgod2009 3 years ago
All i can remember is she is the sister of a lead singer to another band, but my memory fails me as too who or her name :(

Despite who takes credit for it, this song was written by Trent Reznor for me. Look at the drummer, it's Trent when he was still Brian Tyler before his plastic surgery and heroine addiction ate his baby fat.

Great song does anyone know who the female is singing the high note.
kenty233 3 years ago
I asked David Sterry (lead singer) who did the angel voice and he said it was Lisa Edwards (in the '83 version too), who's pretty famous in Australia. I'm in Ohio so had to Google her to figure that out: h t t p://w w w . l i s a e d w a r d s .c o m . a u / i n d e x . h t m (remove all the spaces).
