no shit sherlock..its got a 383 stroker kit under the hood..thats whats giving the car that sound..its cammed and pretty much fully worked..but he also paired the engine with a GMMG exhaust which is the best sounding exhaust for Camaros/Firebirds..so to answer your statement yes it is more then exhaust..but if you heard that exhaust on a car w/o a 383 it would sound just as sick

idk if this was ur attempt to call me out but here it goes...the one "easy" way to make a 350 into a 383 is by putting in a 400 crankshaft...although i wouldnt consider this an easy build cuz theres alot more to it then just puttining in a 400 crank

That's my friends car. Its a 383 with forged internals, ported stock heads, LE ported intake, XFI 242/248 113LSA cam, and every single supporting mod. IIRC the car has around 60K miles(body) and the motor has less than 100miles.

Car was idling kinda high(1100 RPM) due to a shitty tune by Brian@PCMforless. Had lots of problems getting it corrected, but the PCM was sent elsewhere for updates.

yes, people do it all the time. when you stroke an engine you can opt to forge the internals and this will help you run more boost safely. check out ls1tech if you want wayyy too much information lol.

The more displacement you are putting out the more fuel will be needed(still, some cars get better mpg with bigger engines than others do). For instance a 5.7L camaro gets better gas mileage than a 7.0L Corvette ZO6. Of course you don't just want to buy a stroker kit off ebay and expect big gains.

cont: what kind of car do you have? First you need to start with boltons(Cold air intake, full exhaust etc.) and then you are going to want to strengthen the drivetrain and up the suspension and build your tranny(if you want big hp) then stroke the motor and then port your heads and get a matching cam. I almost forgot one of the most important things a TUNE!!!

cam is the camshaft. its over the pistons. camshaft opens the valves so air/fuel mixture can get into the engine, and exhaust get out of the engine. wen people say they cammed their engines, it means that they put a sports camshaft on the car. the intake/exhaust valves overlap, and thats wat makes the engine idle so rough... some people would say a car sounds shitty like that, but i say its pure symphony :]

In short, it controls the operation of the engines intake and exhaust valves. A larger cam will allow more air to exit the engine.

Prepping would take like 10 minutes on that panel its not like its high gloss so dont get into that with me. Paint always looks better than a sticker in most cases. And yes, the vinyl decals sold for cars are overpriced. Get your facts straight first buddy!

F-Bodys is where do be, there are so many fuckin assbags on here that are so fucked in the head and wish they had that HP and make videos stating so...like My 383 supercharged LS1. and you see it racing a C5 or mustang and barely beating it. by a hair line. is that your ride? I have a 02 ZO6 and 94' converted to 02 Camaro Z28/SS. The motor is a 383, 8.5 to 1 compression, with the beffed up 4L60E trans and long tube headers, oh yeah almost forgot STS 14lbs turbo...love my 700hp F-Body!
