Kevin Skinner won my heart the first time I saw his performance on America's Got Talent. He is truely blessed with an amazing voice and passion for being his true self. I hope he goes as far as he can in his life. He almost made me cry because of how everyone had their first impression as some okie/hilbilie/trailor trash junkie or whatever. I think that's what really got America rattling about him;) And I wouldn't have it any other way! :D

What people don't seem to understand is that a musician isn't somebody who plays or even sings perfectly, is a person who can move your hearth and make your soul reach the sky, just with his own presence and deep performance. Kevin is an excellent musician, the best player or singer? Definitely not, but he does much more for me than any other plastic performer out there

In my ears, he's frequently off key, can't sustain a solid note, has a consistently weak vibrato (that actually turns into a false tremolo when he runs out of breath), and his guitar playing is arhythmic every time he hits the chorus. But, what do I know? I'm just a no body with ten years of music training. I didn't win America's Got Talent, so I must be wrong.

There is something that touches you. Most of todays most popular music is nothing more then a performance.
